Part of the reason would also be the name. Who would trust a mod called SuperNoob? They'd all go : You're a noob, you don't know what to do.
i'd vote for you. ive met many great people with poorly chosen names, though it could just be my luck.... if you can see this then you have read the whole thing....
Totally think i should be a mod. I would ban the other mods and laugh manically as the forums burnt down after someone created a thread with a controversial topic.

Well since tdev is the first member and I believe he's under the "Super Administrators" group, you couldn't really ban him at a lower authority level.
Tdev will have full access to do anything and cant be stopped by anyone. He has God mode. I doubt that moderators are actually able to ban each other, other than tdev who has god mode (he is admin i assume) so he can do whatever he wants. So my plan would not work at all due to the clever people who make forum software and the permission levels. Moral of the story, Tdev is God, if you disappoint him he will descend from the heavens with a huge bad ass battleaxe and use it to nuke you from orbit. Or something like that anyway I think sam nailed it. There are many people here who are probably responsible enough to do the job, but the forum seems to be doing pretty well anyway so why mess with that.
You have to be careful who you choose when it comes to moderators, many people are in it for the power unfortunately. I think the forum is quite well moderated as it is really.
