Sorry , i don't want to start this again , but i think it kinda looks like a 1st gen Hyundai Accent .

 

I don't normally join in on the "it looks like" bus but quite honestly all of the official BeamNG vehicles look
like all sorts of different cars. The Pessima has attributes of 5 or 6 different cars but none of them are a
a perfect match, it's brilliant if not a tad sinister. There are times when this car looks like a Mazda, Hyundai
or even an earlier model Impala or others. If Gabe does this deliberately he is a fucking evil genius and if not
he's just flat out blessed.

The SBR and 200BX are other examples of looking like five different cars from five different angles.

I love this car because it reminds me of my car. Small, light, small engine but still fun to chuck around. Idk if this thing is plastic but my car is which makes it even better. haha. Still kinda wish GM kept Saturn. They had some damn good engines and those Sl's can make a pretty nice cheap racer too. I've seen a few by me converted to racers.

 

This car is amazing so far, keep up the good work!

Yes it was problem, so I've redid the Pessima a bit.

Whats new:
Completely revised engines, new torque curves and added engines (sohc 1.5L 98hp, dohc 1.5L 106 hp, sohc 2.0L 131 hp, 3.0L V6 198 hp)
Gear ratios revised, based on real world cars like the Honda's, Daewoo's from the 90's era. (new 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic with more aggressive kickdown and shift points.)
Aerodynamic drag corrected should reach speeds like its real world counterparts. (The 106 hp version reaches around 187 km/h airspeed)

Didn't make a new thread because, I've only edited the JBeam files.

It is not a separate mod, so it directly replaces the Pessima.

Anyone that is interested give it a try, and do backup.

Removing the front differential turns the Pessima into a slow accelerating rear wheel drive car that hits 138MPH in first gear.
How does that work?

EDIT: I just reached 149MPH in reverse like that.

 

because the game engine does not like a lack of differential or drivetrain and will actually substitute default values for a 1:1 differential corrected to the rear wheels.

Passenger cars aren't built to be trashed around off road. The realism of this game is beautiful.

 

anyone have a problem with the "stanced" pessima?, everytime i spawn it the front suspension brokes, and the car cant move

Okay instead of joining the "it looks like" bandwagon, I will simply mention that the name "pessima" sounds oddly close to the Kia optima. Get it? Pessima-pessimistic optima-optimistic.

Also holy crap this thread is almost a month old but I have to point this out I hope it was worth a bump

 

This car is incredibly comfortable, and has pretty good handling. I'm impressed.

 

No sure why every one says it's looks like a Taurus. It looks like like a mid 90s Chevy Malibu.

 

TBH this is the car i explore maps with, the sport variant isn't that slow and its easy to drive and drives well.
