Yeah I have to agree, in the crash pics, the engine bay looks almost unscathed compared to the bumper, fenders, hood, lights, etc.
It's just how slow the crashes were, those pics were from a 10-20km/h crash with that truck. For example a 60km/h crash into a box looks like this And an 80km/h one: Depends how the materials go and how the texture baking goes
Your post has motivated me to start checking in on WIP projects from time to time again; now I have something to look forward to lol. Looks wonderful so far, though Im sure you've heard that a million times considering the quality of the mod thus far lol
mad respect for beam modders, i wish i wasnt so retarded and could follow the wiki tutorial on creating a vehicle, it just never has seemed to work... on my 2 attempts.
on a upgraded config is it possible to make the transmission whine and make that sound when it changes gears it might be hard but i hope thisgets considered great job so far
You're taking a bit too many notes from my Mustang, aren't you? Anyways, if not a custom interior, then maybe a new gauge cluster. The one from the 200BX looks decidedly dated. As far as baking textures go, I suggest baking the dash to a 4096x4096 map and the seats to another 4096x4096 map. Downscale these to 2048x2048 in paint.net or similar software when you put them ingame.
Ah I missed that, thanks for pointing it out Custom interior may be coming (Obviously very very early version so don't complain if it's missing something eg literally anything other than the main shape) I'm fine with that part of baking textures it's just the materials and getting from 3D to 2D I'll need to practice on
