I NEED HELP

Hello everybody, not to alarm you but my sanity is on the line when it comes to this.
Now, quite a while ago I downloaded a mod that made the moonhawk's engine play grime, I REALLY want to delete it, but I have two problems. One is that I can't actually find the file(s), and two, its replaced the original sound, so deleting the mod would also delete the actual engine noise, so I would need that file too.
I hope you can help me regain my sanity,

i would verify your games files thru steam, clear cache, if you cant find the mod, I would just do a fresh install lol\

but really, wtf kind of mod is that, that sounds terrible haha

Did the mod override original game files? If so, you’re probably going to want to verify the game’s integrity in Steam. This should check the game’s files, and replace anything that was modified with the original files.
