Alright. Unless you want this car to be some sort of Lada then I'd reccomend adding some more polys. The grille definitely needs some love but otherwise keep going and good luck!
True.. but even low poly cars are cool in their own way --- Post updated --- Engines: Ranging from 1.3l to 2.5l? Inline 4/5/6/8 V4/6/8/10/12 W8/12/16/18 ? Lottta options
2.5 is way too big I think. Something like 1.8 liter direct ohc with 70-80 hp would be plenty --- Post updated --- Since this car looks to be the product of eastern bloc, I would assume that it had very long production spam ( Like Lada 2107 or Riva). So I could suggest engine configs like these: For the early production models, a 1.7L carburated 4 cylinder engine. Producing somewhere like 65-70 hp For the late models ( probably during the time of USSR collapse) a stroked out 1.8L with injection can be sufficient Very rare rotary model for the KGB officials Something like an air cooled V4 is different as well (ZAZ cars)
Looks nice! Not sure if this was recommended, but I think a suggestion that I think can help is going into Object>Shade Smooth once you have the entire model selected to help with the shading that just feels rather off
Oof that's probably is an extra node or face.. hmm.. have you refreshed the normals or whatevs(I don't really know blender terms).. like select all and click Shift+N or something
It might be the normals like @SKB said, try pressing Shift+N in edit mode and a small "Recalculate Normals" box should pop up. If it still doesn't work, press the tick if its checked or not. Hope this helps
Between all types of vehicles and mods in Beam, these are by far the best: Huge config packs, great looking low-poly cars (like this one) and well made and detailed cars. Cannot wait to see what this looks like when it's finished hehe.
