Ok so what I want to do is to get this passenger van H-Series to not overwrite the normal H-Series, as it does right now.

Anyone know how I would be able to get this to happen?

Thanks! Actually being able to put other van parts would be cool, how would I do that?

I renamed the van folder, changed its vehicle selector name, and changed every vehicles/van/ to vehicles/touristmobile/ in the materials file.
    Did i miss something?

Wouldn't it be easier to just make it an addition to the h-series? It would be much easier to do so.
You'd just have to change the body jbeam name to whatever you want and change the name of the body in the .jbeam file.

does your mod have all the other parts it needs from the h-series. (textures, jbeams)

I don't know how did you manage to mess up the H-series so badly...
NEVER overwrite the original files... Alway create your own parts with new materials.
Here is the semi-fixed version... Go from here and make sure that none fo the files in your mod overwrite the official Van.
Also, you've messed up something with Jbeam it seems like, the rear suspension destroys itself on spawning.

    Thanks, I’ll try this out.
Wait it does what? Suspension doesn’t destroy itself for me.
(Btw I did not make this, just trying to make it work ingame. Whoever made this before did all the jbeam and materials stuff)

Only thing that has been done semi-decently was the body model itself (although you should make the rer seats separate.
You could use just the stabdard Jbeam, as it has been updated over time.
You will from what I've seen have to fix the materials on the modified section of the van.
I don't know how, but the passenger van model still overwrites the van body.
This mod is so badly messed up, that you'd be better off just extracting the model from it and starting from scratch.

The only reason why I wanted it as a separate vehicle was because for some reason I liked the old retro style textures and stuff. But seeing as it’s this badly messed up I think I will just take the model and plop it on a new H-series jbeam. The problem though is that if I do that the front window will show up as NO TEXTURE when damaged. What would I do to fix that?

It must be a problem of the windshield_break materials.
I suggest you removing the materials.cs file from your mod and rewrite it acfordingly to your needs.
You will have to write new van glass material (make it separate from the base one)
The van textures should be fixable with jus t properly unwrapping the uv map of the added parts.
