I have looked all over and tried so hard but to no avail. So finally, how the hell do I make a beamng map in 2019? I would like to create one using the template.

Besides the mentioned very in-depth tutorial I can also suggest HighDef and davidinarks tutorials series on YT. It's good format to learn because HighDef (experienced modder) teaches davidinark (starting out) the basic info on how to make a map. Check it out here:
