i've been trying to find a way to attach some basic gliding wings to an automation car, but i haven't found a way to give them any collision in beamng. they don't detach from the body upon damage (whether unbreakable fixtures is toggled or not) and they don't interact with anything. what could i try to do to fix this? i think i was getting somewhere with BNEditor, and i managed to assign nodes and beams with the right weights, but the program crashed when i tried to add a collision triangle.
Maybe try looking at the code of some other automation made planes. they work fine and i think you could use some code from them to make your glider.
I think you can mod a body to use in automaton, then export it into beamng. It may work. Emphasis on ‘may’.
