Adjusted some things; Extended the swing arm by about 4 centimeters and moved the steering arms "onboard" so they don't clip through anything Moved the radiator and tubes to clear out the extended suspension It gets nice 'n low too
Updated and added configs! (there's 2 configs in the blacked out part that won't be added, theyre personal dumb thingies) Dune Buggy! It works pretty well. It's using mud terrain tyres, because theres not a lot of consistent tyre variety on any rim size.. And added high performance radiator with a spinny boi fan. I've got about 3-4 more configs planned, obviously with some extra parts to go with them Still have to do some clean up work but it's nearing completion
Awesome!!! I really like the Yardkart Looks literally like a go kart. Very excited to see this! --- Post updated --- Could you maybe make the tubes that hold the windshield Removable?
Most likely no aero parts, maybe in a future update? Well...I finally caved in. I just had to add them, The flat-4 Piccolina engines! With dual exhausts! A custom cooling fan & shroud thingy, modified carbs and headers to make it all fit. I still need to do some work on making it fit even better, add the turbo and oil cooler(s?) This thing is also quite a fire hazard. Headers only centimeters away from the fuel tank......it'll be fine
I can't wait for some madlad to make an extended version of the chassis and swap a Bolide V8 or a 200BX inline 4 in there or something. --- Post updated --- Or maybe an SBR engine. Oh that gives me an idea. This needs an electric version.
That right there would be one tight fit. That engine is dimensionally huge, not just displacement-wise.
Some interior detailing, I've added the gauge cluster and buttons from the Pigeon and the shifters from the Piccolina, this cluster will be the default, I've kept the other gauges as 'Racing Gauges', or something. Also added the shiftlights and because of the lack of tachometer on the Pigeon gauges, I've made the single shiftlight a default part Now...the shifter doesn't make a whole lot of sense and I'm not sure if I should try to make it...have sense, lol. Opinions?
I don't think that would make a lot of sense except for the sequential transmission..unless people irl have managed to convert normal transmissions to only have 'up & down' shifts? I don't know much about that sorta thing
Well, according to this video, manuals with paddle shifters are a thing, unless it's a lie and clickbait
I assume this system is somewhat like when VW made the DCT, just you can operate the clutch too. Interesting
i have have watched the video and they are there only to operate the auto blip for downshifts, dont know about the other paddle. But there are bolt on conversion kits for H-Pattern manual transmissions (check s1sequential.com) and with that its not hard to make the paddle shifters work. Ps. would be intresting to see a decently powerfull model with CVT that would be bit like a polaris RZR or similar
