Some vehicles never got a thread, some were deleted after a forum bug messed up a bunch of old threads.

I'm having a problem with the SBR4. It's acting like it doesn't have an engine in its bay. Could I get some help?
PS: I have already cleared the cache, don't ask me to do that plz.

The engine is in the rear of the car, fyi. Otherwise deactivate all mods and use safe mode.

Why does this look like it's sticking its tongue out with that insert? It even looks like it has tastebuds.

I personally don’t see that, I think it looks very sharp. And cool.

I wonder if these wheel covers actually help the brakes to cool down?

I think the front end is iffy, but otherwise the facelift looks fine. I think it still looks better than the old SBR, at least.

Wait, are the eSBR variants under the SBR4 selector or is it a separate vehicle?

The eSBR and facelift are a modification to the SBR, and can be found in the same menu

Is it normal that eSBR 800 goes so fast in reverse?

It's an electric drivetrain, which doesn't contain a transmission. So yes, that is normal.

Shouldn't there be some kind of a limiter like in real electric cars?

I know some electric cars are factory limited to sensible numbers, I'm not sure if all are. I know the Nissan Leaf held a world speed record for reversing at one point, not sure if that had a limiter disabled or didn't have one in the first place. (Didn't think the Nissan Leaf would ever be compared to a Hirochi SBR...)

IRL most people don't really try to test the limits of their car in reverse (so there is relatively limited liability for not having a limiter) , and I don't know of any laws saying a manufactuerer must limit it. So we could probably just say the missing limiter is a quirk of the car and leave it at that.

Electric cars really should have limiters for reverse, plenty of people accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, and having a 0-60 time of 3 seconds in reverse would only make that a lot worse. That said, it doesn't matter too much, and the devs probably decided being able to outrun most cars in reverse is more fun than implementing a reverse speed limiter.
