I have two news - first good, second... is more bad that good.

First news - UV Map is mostly complete.
    upload_2023-6-8_22-29-20.png

Second news - according to preliminary estimates - the mod is likely to be extremely demanding on computer performance (due to the number of textures).
I make as much as I can for mod optimisation, but keep what I writed upper in mind.

    Stay tuned!

    Very nice work!
    - Is it also maybe because of the high polygons?

From my experience - the model itself, up to a certain point, has practically no effect on performance (maybe 2-3fps).

I'm not a modder but maybe combined textures for parts that would all be the same color/ texture in real life, like the undercarriage. And maybe slightly lower definition textures, if high definition takes longer to load

I know I probably sound like I have no idea what i'm talking about (cause I honestly don't) but if the mod is to heavy to run I won't be able to use it on my potato laptop, which would be a bit of a let down considering how long I've been watching progress. Although isn't this bus almost the same size as the wentward? Maybe use Wentward textures on some parts but rename them so it doesn't interfere with the Wentward. The Wentward isn't heavy to run so I'd think it would be the same if you use its textures on the NSB?

Don't panic - version for potato pc is planned.

Height is same, but NSB is shorter (on 2m) and narrower (on 30cm).

I think about it (because suspension and frame is mostly same with wentward). But after some edits (for fitting to NSB) all UV map is fully remaked.

    And some progress with textures.

Sounds great! So what exactly would the differences be between the “regular” and “potato” optimized versions? Because if the only difference is the type of textures, then it might actually be better to just make the optimized version the only version. Maintaining and updating two similar versions of the same vehicle might end up being be needless extra work for you, since most people will probably use the optimized version anyway.

I'm afraid this will lower the fps quite a lot when vehicles appear

Does the engine sound include the roar of the fan when gassing?

Also added some decals on engine parts (some parts not textured because its old screens).

And lore-friendly version for repo version.
