    So for having the correct additional files for new mods. I know in your zipped mod file, you need mod_info, then another folder with something called a tagid I believe. Can I just make up this name? or how to do acquire it?

    Also in the info.json file, you have...

    "attachments": [
    {
    "data_filename": "180034.jpg",
    "original_filename": "20160818175233_1.jpg",
    "thumb_filename": "thumbs\/180034.jpg"
    },
    ],

    "resource_id": 1395, <---How do I get this or do I make it up
    "resource_version_id": 6457, <---How do I get this or do I make it up
    "version_string": "1.0",
    "release_date": 1498556285,
    "filename": "MyMod.zip",
    "title": "Cool Mod",
    "tag_line": "Cool Mod",
    "user_id": 145836, <---How do I get this or do I make it up
    "username": "MasterFluffy",
    "tagid": "MGVQEN85L", <---How do I get this or do I make it up

    Unless this whole bottom section is created from the beamng web services when uploading mod?

    You generally don't need a mod_info.json for the mod unless you really wanted to.
    And you can just get rid of the that entire section in the info.json.

    Thanks! After more thinking yeah makes sense now the beam webpage injects it in automatically.

    Yes, it is injected. I compared the zip that I uploaded to the site, and the zip I downloaded from the site, and there is injected files. So leave out the mod_info folder entirely. And the info.json doesn't get injected(though it could have been because mine was one directory up more than usual.)
    And also, you may loose compression after you upload. Happens. (Compress it fully for upload if you have bad or limited internet. Probably just good to compress it in general.)

    From which folder? In the main folder where your mod is or in the mod_info folder?
    If it is in the folder where your mod is, it may not show up properly.

    That 'mod_info' part is added by us.
    Your mod will get repacked automatically with that.
    You don't have to do anything manually.
