I dont know how to make a materials.cs file that is custom In this .Zip folder below contains The Actual Model A folder with textures in it another texture folder a garage .cs file i just need help getting the textures in game
Hey, I had a look at your dae file. Unfortunately most of the UVs are either missing or will not work properly. First your meshes need to have them so the textures can be displayed correctly. E.g. a simple cuboid and its UVs: Now a texture can be applied to the mesh and it gets represented correctly:
Which software are you using? There are plenty of tutorials out there teaching you how to create/modify UVs for each 3d application. I'm willing to help you with the UVs at some point but I highly recommend you to try it first and come back to us if you face a certain problem.
where do i start... torgue3d automaticaly creates a materials.cs file once the model is loaded from: steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/content there is no need to manually wright one nor to do the uv stuff. the material.cs file of your model will be located in: documents/BeamNG.drive/content first of all, i would hardly recommend redoing your model since there are problems all over it. not to mention the pollitical theme. but hey. what do i care? single sided walls, wrong sided faces and the pictures you placed on the walls are surface fighting. pm me... im in the mood of helping you.
Wow.. I totally overlooked that UVs are actually existing already, sorry! That was dumb! I agree to everything what @Ghost187 was saying! Edit: except that you need to have proper UVs but since they were already there...
