Did you find a solution? Downloaded the 2 latest files in the thread, dont even have a frame it looks like
delete all the zip files on the mod, but not the self of the repo files. dont unsubscribe. then download both of the new ones, and the tire file on page 3. if you clear cache, it will loose the tire textures, but fix your frame. so clear cache before you download the tire file on page 3. I don't know why clearing cache breaks the tires, but it does.
you have to clear cache, there are old files in the cache already --- Post updated --- you have to download the tire pack mod
Downloaded the 2 latest filen in this thread (semi and the offroad tires) and cleared cache. This is straight after starting the game up after a cleared cache. I don´t know how many times i have reinstalled and cleared cache *Edit* When spawning the original T-series, it has no engine textures. And spawning the B-series again, they are broken. (Removing the mod + clearing the cache fixes this issue for the T-series) How can clearing cache make problems? What if you didn´t have the mod before this update? I hope im not too much pain in the ass
clearing cache breaks it --- Post updated --- never mind i see what youre talking about EVERYONE: delete the old version of the the tire mod, then download the new one, and it should work. --- Post updated --- We really need some sort of big trailer with huge loads. @PetrKn0ttDrift what happened to the thread on the trailer? Just a reminder --- Post updated --- suggestion for next update: Heavy duty clutch --- Post updated --- the 8x8 offroad euro semi has a trailer you guys can use.
I have an idea for a fake Jake brake where you can bind a button to play a sound file and Apply a percentage of the regular brakes, I know this is no where near realistic but for beam physics it could work.
Pretty cool, there are still some details I'd like to be added, similar details to what you did to the side steps, scratched up or what looks like snow sticking to it. Those effects added to the windshield, cab, especially the bumpers. A shiny/matte colored front bumper doesn't really match up with a dirty wheeled truck and scratched up side steps, nor do immaculate fuel tanks match either.
is the 8x8 in the resource files? i dont have that chasis in your mod edit: nvm i think i found it is on page 10 also tried the 8x8 and the auto transmission slips when hauling heavy loads, also on the mnual trans when the front wheels are coupled it wears out the clutch
you have to download the it got deleted --- Post updated --- @ItsYourBoi I've noticed the cab should be a bit thinner
Huh.. the mod works, there's textures, but no visible frame. It's obviously there but it's invisible lol. I reinstalled the tire and truck mod, but nope. Still pretty cool though, 4 axled trucks are rare in this game
This thing is excellent. A few suggestions: - optional back-up beeper or a hotkey to turn it off. - extension ram intakes and/or a roof height military snorkel. - on frame fuel tank, like AR162B's race tank but bigger and tougher. - anti-lock brakes (missing from experimental .zip) https://www.beamng.com/threads/boreal-trunk-road.68875/#post-1131550
Yeah I'm working on a better way of making it work Clutches are already on my list That's a really great idea, putting it on my list I think it looks good like it is. It looks a bit like a mess my mod right now ahahaha -Ill see if it's easy to do -yeah sure -I just can't find this sort of tank be useful in any situation for a truck like this -its makes everything freak out when I tried doing that a while ago ahahah, I could try again My mod is just a real big mess right now
