Wow.. you've beaten by time by nearly one second.. You are incredibly fast. I thought I was going to win but I guess I'll have to stick with second place. And I've used running lap, too. It feels easier to set a good time.
Spec Racer Z beat me by another second, so you get third this week I'm afraid. There is always this week.
Wait, are you sure? You've set a 48.232 and I've set a 47.780. so I'm still second. Unless you've improved your time.
Check the Spoilers button on the main post of the comp page. Spec Racer Z posted a video which I put on the leaderboard. --- Post updated --- Sorry I meant you came second.
HDTTP Utah Road 1 in 2:38.718. It's quite tricky getting the automatic transmission to behave in places where the drive wheels bounce around.
Well done guys. My turn I think. --- Post updated --- Good stuff. I love the end, such a savage impact. --- Post updated --- I tryed but today my best is. I could probably get a 2:39 but Spec is right, that gearbox can ruin your lap if you don't have the drive-train under the right amount of drive pressure, at the right time. It's frustrating. Still pretty fun though. --- Post updated --- Sorry about the bogus rolling start points again I have fixed them.
Let's say that the deadline isn't done yet 02:41.689 Main problem for me has been the brakes cooking after one lap, I can't just do more than 2 laps in a row with good times, so I can't compare my checkpoint times to previous lap and see which trajectory is faster
There's some very scary parts when you focus on keeping your average speed as high as possible, but I managed sub-2 minutes just barely. 1'59.993.
Nice job! I'll be honest. I haven't actually attempted it yet, have been real busy. I am really hyped for the next update that improves on tyre model physics and stability. Did you see the micro blog on tyres lateral dampening? http://media-cdn.beamng.com/c2P85f8avguFkhus
