We were going to switch in the 70's, but it was a completely voluntary change, which means that most people just didn't switch. However, all US government branches use metric, and Canada switched to metric to match with us, just for us to not follow through. --- Post updated --- So yes, we could switch to metric, and in fact, all vehicles made for the US are based on the metric system, but it would require older cars to be updated with metric gauges
I actually love that. It looks cool. Some of their other cars though... (yes, this is an actual modification that they make.) The company that makes these is Mitsuoka, who creates their own retro-styled vehicles in addition to modifying vehicles with their retro-styled bodykits. They also have a special department for creating hearses.
