Lastly, after I saw this area I was happy enough I didn't even look for better ones, so if you know some I'm here next time it will be easier[/QUOTE] Yea makes totally sense, I was just curious... landscape is truly beautiful and unique there about throwing cars down the cliff.. in Lanzarote there is a cliff very similar to the one on your map that is a "popular" spot for suicides where people just drive off the cliffs with their cars. If you go hiking there you actually see car wrecks down in the valley.. pretty grim but thats how it is. So throwing down cars over cliffs in the canary islands is apparently a real thing Anyways, looking forward to your map. I was thinking about doing a canary island styled map myself but I don´t have the time to do it, thats why I am especially happy that you make one
- Went further with the rockface, and while it looks fine from a distance, upclose is pretty bad because I scaled these rocks a lot. I don't know what to do, these assets look awesome and are good for performance as well, but they are pretty rough for what I need - Improved color base texture
I don´t think this is such an issue, the rocks are not in an area where you really drive, and from the distance it looks good. I do the same on my map projects and yes, they look bad from really close but, at least in my opinion, its more about the overall image and plausibility than how good it looks down to single blades of grass..

So if I can help you with photos, videos, or GPS data, let me know Today I drove the GC-200 from Puerto de Mogán to La Aldea de San Nicolas. There are speed limits of 40-50 km/h here. I'd love to be able to drive it a bit faster sometime soon using your map!

I'd love to get photos of vegetation, rocks and terrains, google maps' pics are pretty low res One day I want to see this place too, I feel like I know it like my jeans pockets even though I've never been there xdd Project will be finished I just need to organize my time better

Map's area is approximately this one. I use as a reference the crossroad of Mirador de San Nicolàs (27.93887640474493, -15.757582535163978) Also, in the same spot I got really curious about this sort of street food stand. It's amazing there. I was in La Palma a couple of months ago. Driving is so much fun! Here are the images. Of course all the love you put into your map is missing.
Today we took about 100 pictures for your map. Many detailed shots (traffic signs, plants, vegetation, rocks, etc.) that you can use for textures. We also took pictures of the road layout, the bus stop, and so on. The food stand is still there, but it's very run-down and abandoned. Here's a quick preview of the pictures. I'll upload the complete high-resolution images (200 megapixels) including GPS data to Google Drive as soon as we get home at the end of the week. My girlfriend also recorded a video of the entire road layout during the drive, between the "Mirador de San Nicolás" and the "Mirador de Barranco de Tocodomán."
Yo, just wanted to say, this map is great but as someone that has lived in gran canaria all their life, this is kinda dry. I feel like this is how it must look in summer, but in spring the area is much greener. especially since the ayuntamiento started a greenery program around the south, lining roads with greenery and landmarks.
