Right. So since I was on forums last.

Night in hospital trying to diagnose the weird markings on my leg. Collapsed vein somehow linked to a kidney issue. I have blood and protein in urine for some reason. Further tests on this will be carried out tomorrow afternoon.

Morning spent in northampton hunting for student accomodation. Have a rather nice place I can move into as early as september 5th. 7 students in the house in total 1 of whom I know already. Very nice house, good location for me (within 10 minutes walk I have a wicked pub, uni campus and supermarket, so thats me sorted). 150mb/s fiber internet too.

    Family BBQ. Nuff said.

Holiday to norfolk. Right now is first net access I've had since being here (sunday evening), I come home tomorrow.

Turns out that Android Wear and Galaxy Gear devices can be used with a Samsung Galaxy S2. Neat :D

Finally cleaned up my laptop's desktop.
    TableRockWallpaper.jpg
Used a photo I took last night as the new wallpaper.

It would look cleaner if your wallpaper was the same aspect ratio as your desktop.
You can see the line around the edge of the church where the filter to change the colour of the sky was applied, it also looks like a hedge was added into the lower right, possibly to cover up some other people or similar, maybe to make the composition look a little nicer to the creator, who knows. There is also the line across the lawn in the bottom left. Other than that it is a nice image.

Eh, it's good enough for me :p. I don't have a before picture, but just imagine the stock wallpaper with a mess of icons covering the whole desktop.

I have seen many times just how bad mac desktops can get since most users ive seen dont have icons snapping to a grid. Meaning its often a mess of overlapping files.

I just found a CD with Portal 1 written on it.
Once I put it into my DVD drive there was nothing on it.
Now that disc is on the other side of my room, and it also learned how to fly :p

No, no, no ,no ,no. You need to start thinking with portals. The disk obviously vaporized and respawned since you failed the first challenge. You need to place a portal on the surface of the disk you tried and then place another portal inside a locked room inside valve HQ so you can put the original disk in your PC and then hold the actual disk in the locked room against the portal to use in the disk drive.
This is how valves new DRM system works, since there is only one copy of the game no one can pirate it, if you try and take it out the room it vaporizes. Cleaver huh...

Oh right, I completely forgot that.
Now I'll start searching my portal gun.
If I don't find it, will a 3D printed one work as well or does it have to be the one that came with the game?

My favorite thing to do on the Macs in my college is to screenshot the desktop and the mess of files that always covers them and then set it as the desktop background. Which results in a doubling of all the files and its impossible to know which is part of the background and which is real.

    I'm an ass i know :p

Provided it is of matching specification i imagine it would suffice. Im sure valve customer support would be able to help you quickly and efficiently though.

I am going to keep that in mind, it could potentially be a lot of fun.

The thing that i really dislike is that a usb stick pops up a new folder on the desktop. But when the desktop is cluttered i always have to pull the stick out and plug it back in again while purposely looking at the screen to figure out where it has appeared.

If you hit a car with helicopter blades in GTA IV the car flies around
If you hit a car in BeamNG.drive with helicopter blades the helicopter breaks

I think I'm gonna buy another hard drive. I can't shrink my C: anymore, game drive is nearly out of space (<100gb left, I'm expecting FO4 to be at least 40GB) and I really don't want to backup and wipe/re-part (copying 500gb of stuff != fun).

So my cable just went ahead and fucked itself. All of the channels are freezing up except for CNN and FOX News. Science was working for a little bit and it just froze.

NHL Network is available. Patrick Roy's last game in Montreal. Fine with me.

Also you're just doing it for the attention. Stop it.

Just upgraded to Win10, Start menu isn't working ffs. Come on Windows finish your shit. Also I'm not used to this Task Manager, is there a way to get something that looks like the good old one from Windows 7 and earlier?

Pretty sure that's normal for reflections before DRF. I think it's the map's skybox/cubemat reflecting on the car non-dynamically.
