Ibishu 200BX with the race parts on it. I actually tried it myself once with 1125 samples, since I was gone for a day or two, and it ended up in my PC freezing.
I had an Elitebook. Nice machines. When you've had a business laptop everything else feels cheap and fragile, and the build quality is from another dimension. Depends on the rest of the computer. But if you use it as a system drive it'll be more noisy, and HDDs aren't particularly quiet.
So the drive was damaged since we bought this PC? Ah well, aslong as there's no data loss and no performance decrease it's ok I guess.
If it's a prebuilt then there may have been damage during transfer. Damaging a hard drive is VERY easy, any bump or movement to the PC can scratch it. The more damaged a hard drive is, the more performance decrease there will be. If the hard drive has lots of damage the PC will run extremely slow. Most mistake that type of extreme damage for a virus or the typical "my PC needs more RAM/etc". If it's just a whine that's pretty normal.
It's more of a scratching sound. Actually, now that I think about it, it sort of sounds like the hard drive is coughing.
The coughing kind of sound is normal. The hard drive is the loudest part in my computer too and it has lasted 4 years so it is probably fine. I will grab a recording once i have had tea (afternoon meal, not drink). Here is the sound. There is also fan noise on there, it was boosted to +40db to normalize the volume so a bit of the noise is probably due to that also. I had to zip it because of forum restrictions...
Received a nice little copyright strike/warning this morning (imported from here) The funny thing is, I wouldn't really mind if the strike was because I use things I do not have the permission for. But the strike came from a romanian kid who managed to download one of my videos wich I later deleted and reuploaded it before I could reupload it on my channel. (I had to take down the video after 2 days because of a music problem - reuploaded it 6 days later but the kid already managed to reupload the original version) In other words he had my video uploaded 2 days before mine so he could strike me even though he stole the video from me. I love youtube, were channels with 50subs can strike youtubers with +65k subs while there video has 500 views, 2 likes and 10 dislikes, while the one who got taken down because it was a "copy", had +300k views and 2k likes. Good job youtube! Unprofessionalism at its best.
Come on everybody lets get on the Report train and report this vid (even though youtube not going to do shit)
That reminds me of that one time where Nerd³ got a copyright strike from a fake Valve (account?) because he showed gameplay of Portal 2. The funny thing was, that Valve themselves even say that you're allowed to make lets plays of their games.
You're allowed to dispute the strikes. In this case you're obviously, undeniably right, and you have plenty of proof. Dispute it and it'll go away pretty quick. Bonus points if you still have the project file, just show them a screenshot of all the video tracks in your editor, that's undeniable proof.
I know that guy. He wanted to sub for sub ad in my comments, so I said he's stolen your video.. And guess what? He deleted all comments and putted me 5 dislikes. Nice, little kid.
Maybe its just me but something irks me a bit about you putting your name next to one of Gabester and B25 Mitches models. Even if you did go through the effort to import it and render it seems a disservice to only accredit yourself. EDIT: Assuming you put your name there to prevent people from removing it, the paintbrush tool is all that is required to remove it. EDIT2: You ninja'd my ninja edit
will fix. i never thought about that. thanks! edit yea thats why its there. but now i see how easy it is too remove, i just put it in the corner. --------------------------EDIT-------------------------------- i made another render. model by codemasters
