I'd prefer Domino's Pizza. Not the actual domino. Ew. jetcoasterfan, please try to filter what you say if at all possible.

I think I'm about done with AMD GPU's

    (imported from here)

so my dilemma now, GTX 770 or GTX 960?

The reason I got my R9 280X over the Radeon 7970 is because a friend was insistant "Hey, new architecture. This should be better". I quite well trust his opinion and went with it. This has been the worst GPU I've ever had use of. RMA'ing the thing. and Based on this experience, I'm tempted to go with the 770.

The 770 is certainly a good alternative to the 280x.

770 for sure, the 900 series Nvidia chips have tons of driver and reliability problems.

Coming from a hardcore (like, I live AMD) AMD fanboy, even I have to say that, for the price, the GTX 770 is an excellent GPU.

The belief that AMD GPUs are more efficient with Intel processors is true. My 7850 absolutely flies with my i5. GTA V is gonna be fun, whenever it gets done downloading.

Also, I got a mysterious note reverse-pick-pocketed to me again today. I'll post if it's something funny when I get home.

If you can find a NOS 770 for under $220ish, go for it. If you can't, go for the 960. I'd go with the 960 myself since it will have much better DirectX 12 support, if the 770 gets any at all.

As for the 900 series having reliability issues, haven't had a single problem with my 970 so far.

Also this should go in the PC discussion thread. Why do people forget that it exists :|

I sent my brand new $80 PSU to my old address in texas by mistake. Newegg was unhelpful and now it's been delivered to some random person. :(

EDIT: Just so I don't super diss newegg, they weren't rude or anything, but nothing near what amazon might do. Nothing super helpful.

Wow, that sucks. I'm surprised Newegg didn't help in any way.

UPS needed an intercept request from them, and newegg said they would try. They only had one business day to do it, but I thought that would be enough time considering I could've done it in 10 minutes. Didn't happen in time and it was delivered about 3 hours ago. Person their is either going to be very confused or very happy. Or they might be a good person and call newegg, but I doubt it.

Yeah, that's rather unfortunate. Hopefully they call Newegg and try to right the issue.

Send a letter to your old address explaining the problem and leave contact information.
I'd say they'd cooperate unless it's a family of assholes.
Or you could get their phone number(s) somehow.

I filed a claim and they said they may be able to do a lost package request. :D
    Ignore everything I complained about.

My Sci Vis teacher said something really dumb today. To explain, a map.

    (imported from here)
So, this is the path of a hurricane over time, points being days of a month, easy enough? Now, my teacher was doing test review today, came across a map like this for a question and was annoyed that time wasn't on the x-axis.

Yeah. Time. On the x-axis. Of a map. Riiiight.
