Re: General discussion chat I'd rather get an ASUS Z97-K for the same money. Other than that it will be fine, you won't run BeamNG properly until you change the CPU but it's still a better idea than buying AMD and then having to replace motherboard as well. - - - Updated - - - you are stupid
Re: General discussion chat Something I've always been wondering is why Dacia is badged Dacia everywhere except for Russia, there they are badged as Renault's. And some Lada's are labeled as Chevrolet's?
Re: General discussion chat Beucause at one point in its horrible extistence GM had a colab with autovaz, and made the chevrolet niva, and both marketed it as their own. Yeah, it is just a lifted Corsa (fact) with a uglier front, so we all should hate it Because it obviously had little sales because it was so awful, they didn't feel like doing it anymore together. And i guess russians never liked the Romanians too much, too, hence the renault logan.
Re: General discussion chat Still waiting :| I setup a small site for my system info meanwhile.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42990436/Site/Specs/Specs.html EDIT- wtf still waiting. Made this meanwhile.
Re: General discussion chat Turns out that Double Action Boogaloo is actually a lot of fun as well as being free on steam. Unfortunate Death image.
Re: General discussion chat Pulled dashcam SD card to download a bit of footage, checked a random clip: Air freshener reflection....
Re: General discussion chat Why thank you! My PC is to the left of my desk, and I had my drink on the left of my desk, didn't realise that the headset cable was under my drink and stood up... The laptop died a few weeks back, just won't boot. I think I'll just buy a new motherboard. It starts, there is a black screen and the fans spin to max, it just stays like that until I remove the charger (also won't charge the battery) Luckily I've cleaned everything up and got it working (sort of) Half of the RAM slots no longer work and some of the PCIe slots have also died. RIP GTX 760, you took the brunt of the juice and your brother still lives on. It was rather scary cleaning the CPU and socket, there was a lot of juice in there..
Re: General discussion chat I gave my Galaxy S2 a rather big splash the other day. I watch Youtube on it while i do the dishes and accidentally poured half a pot of dishwater over it. I wiped the screen down thinking that the screen would be the only wet part, when i picked it up after the dishes were done water started dripping out the bottom of the case. So i took that off and dried the inside of the case too. Nothing is damaged so i am fairly happy with the outcome.
Re: General discussion chat The one time I dropped my S2 into the kitchen sink part of the backlight died. Got it fixed a while after, but I had a half-lit screen for like two months :| At least I never cracked the screen, I've always been rather careful with that. Does have a few dents on the side though.
Re: General discussion chat Mine has a couple dents on it but i keep it in a case these days so its actually in pretty good condition, its now also very clean
Re: General discussion chat Why the 4GB version? It can't do more than 1080p anyway and 2GB is fine for that. You're welcome. Wait, how the fuck did the juice get in? I don't know a single case that has a vent on the right side, so either the juice shot 60 cm upwards somehow or you broke physics.
Re: General discussion chat I refuse to use a phone case, those things are absolutely hideous. I haven't cracked the screen yet and I probably won't since I'll only have it for a while longer. Now I'm not sure if I should buy a 630 or a 530, the 630 is better but I might want to save money for PC upgrades. Android is out completely since I want to stay under £150 and cheap Android phones are rubbish.
Re: General discussion chat this sounds errily familiar to a story i read on PCMR sub-reddit hmmmm also now i can't FIND said story
