Re: General discussion chat 15 seconds in they show the JBeam. I will say this, yeah its probably ripped from Forza or something but its a step in the right direction for those mods as it does have a fitted JBeam. Whether it was scratch made for that car or modded from the grand marshal I dunno, but its the right shape at least and at least the grand marshal has a similar enough layout so we don't have another case of a front wheel drive full independent car running on a RWD solid rear axle JBeam. No, I do not condone the activity of ripping game meshes without credit particularly. But it appears that the devs allow that now and at least these guys are now giving us much better quality than they used to. - - - Updated - - - I for one think your current mesh looks great and that if it was released it would automatically be better simply because someone has taken the time and effort to craft a mesh for this game instead of ripping one from forza.
Re: General discussion chat anyone ever manage to get logged in to the ctos mobile watch dogs companion app?
Re: General discussion chat Hobbyking KKv2.1.5 flight controller. Turnigy plush 30A esc. Turnigy D2380 1000kv brushless motor. 10x4.5 props. 5000mAh turnigy lipo. Spektrum dx6i transmitter. Nothing out of the ordinary . Played some APB today:
Re: General discussion chat no I guess not. Hobbyking's board seems a popular choice, although I've always preferred the idea of rolling your own, infact I have some boards planned but not for quadcopters. NXP LPC1114FN28 in arduino uno footprint, ARM Cortex M0 in 28 pin 600mil dip, to my knowledge nobody else does breadboardable ARM chips (I also have their LPC810, an 8 pin DIP). I quite like it, pretty powerful chip while being damn cheap. Has a serial bootloader built into ROM so no fancy programmer required. I know 2 guys working on an open source toolchain for it (both compile and upload) one of whom wants to look into hacking the arduino IDE into using their toolchain as a backend in future aswell, until then the free trial of NXP's own IDE works just fine for them and mbed supports it (not many other options though). Higher up the priority list is a tiny board for 20 pin dip MSP430 devices, I/O down one side of the chip bought out to servo headers, jumper selectable to run at Vbat or VCC, onboard 3.3v low dropout regulator. The I/O on the otherside however does not use servo headers. Eventually I'll migrate to SMT parts, but not yet, I'm pretty crap at soldering
Re: General discussion chat Take some time to see your wonderful end thingy. h8 emo sic duk (switcheroo on that)
Re: General discussion chat After some more playing, I've decided the game gets more fun when you unlock the ability to hack more stuff. There's just something about blowing up an oblivious guard with a power transformer that never gets old. But I'm having quite a bit of fun with the game right now. Managed to sneak into the bottom of a building, blow up a few guards, and navigate up a few floors with cameras, hack a laptop, and get out completely unnoticed. I lav et.
Re: General discussion chat I used to play APB a lot with my friends, I recorded a ton of videos: http://www.xfire.com/users/davidbazan/games/apb/videos Look at this one lol:
Re: General discussion chat I am taking my last 2 exams today, and after that, I have to turn my tablet in until June 23rd. I have everything backed up except for my newer vehicles in BNG. The SD card they give us is almost full with the crap I have, and my current gaming PC doesn't have an SD card reader. D:
Re: General discussion chat I presume the tablet has USB host though surely? Either that or set up a network shared drive on either the tablet or PC and transfer the files that way.
Re: General discussion chat It has USB ports obviously, but either way, even if it would be easier to just use the flash drives, I have stuff on both of mine, and I do need an SD card reader anyways.
Re: General discussion chat Dennis, I played APB yesterday, and because I just installed it on this PC with a new character, I was called a nub. Why? Because I suck at that game, along with PlanetSide2, and TF2 and that's it for now. If you want to play APB with me, here's http://steamcommunity.com/id/crayfish5359/ my Steam, and my Twitch because I stream. http://www.twitch.tv/crayfish5359
Re: General discussion chat What server? I play on Obeya (EU1). APB has got a steep learning curve, back when I first started I had never played a shooter on the pc, I was happy when I got just 1 kill .
Re: General discussion chat yeah, like that one guy said, it gets less repetitive as you get farther in the game (more specifically, around the point when you get to ACT II)
