Re: General discussion chat 2.75USD/gal right now here in Huntsville. It was about 3.25 2 weeks ago. I'll admit, it's not for everybody, but if it works or you it would probably end up being the highlight of highschool. We practiced in freezing rain yesterday for about 1 1/2 hour and wind/cold the rest of it. We spend over 6 hours each week practicing. That's funny. Mumford won everything here. I was at the competition in Chattanooga.

Re: General discussion chat Yes, we did that Monday. Cold as hell and I left my coat in the band room. I remember state football championship last year. Everything and anything on my clarinet froze... And my friends tuba... and my other friends trumpet... and my then girlfriend's trombone. It was hell. I'm glad we didn't even make playoffs this year. Means my season ends next weekend.

Re: General discussion chat I just had an idea that's both really sick and really stupid. No, seriously, as awesome as this idea is, it's also really fucking dumb. Thank god I don't have a bank account like Bill Gate's, because I might be able to follow through with it. Who remembers that episode of Top Gear where they threw a Bentley Continental GT with lightweight seats onto a rally stage? Well, my idea is along those same lines, only a bit different. And you'll see why. Here's my idea. Take some AWD sportscars and supercars (R35 GT-R, 991 Turbo S, Gallardo LP570, etc.), equip them for a rally race (stripped interior, rollcage, proper handbrake, offroad tires, etc.) and see if they last an entire season. Yup. That's my awesome-yet-still-idiotic idea. I'm also curious to see how a trophy truck or a dune buggy would perform on a rally stage. Maybe a classic GTO, Mustang, Chevelle, or Charger, too, but that would be a waste of a perfectly good muscle car. This was Tapatalk's idea, not mine.

Re: General discussion chat There apparently also are a couple R35 GTRs rallying in Australia. Over here in the Netherlands there is also a rally category that includes Porsches like in the post I quoted, they mostly race against cars like the 350z I believe.
