Re: General discussion chat At home in your gunsafe because Australian law is restrictive as dicks when it comes to firearms, especially handguns.
Re: General discussion chat Come to England. No semi autos unless chambered in a rimfire cartridge of .22 calibre or less. No handguns.
Re: General discussion chat The only reason I like center consoles is because of storage. A holder or two is really all I need. And shifters on the steering wheel is fine too, I don't really care either way. - - - Updated - - - Come to murica. I don't think anything is actually illegal yet. Completely legal to have a semi auto assault rifle . You can obtain fully automatic guns with a special license, too.
Re: General discussion chat I want a shotgun, even if I don't have bullets the sound of a shotgun being cocked (Be mature) is enough to send anyone running for the hills
Re: General discussion chat Shotguns are fun. If someone gets close to you, you can blast them to bits, if needed.
Re: General discussion chat I see that im the only educated gun on these forums Potato, you dont just blast people with a shotgun for the heck of it. Thats irresponsible. But i agree that racking a shotgun sounds awesome. (and Mr. Name, shotguns have shells, not bullets, just so you know <3) ~edit~ tsk tsk tsk... "assault rifles"? An assault rifle needs to be able to select between semi-auto, burst and full auto. Theres no such thing as a semi auto assault rifle. And yes, there are tons of guns that are illegal in the US. If you want a machine gun, you basically have to be richer than richy rich.
Re: General discussion chat The laws are stupid, Sure they have stopped a lot of crime but I think after a licensed gun user has his license for a certain amount of time he can own semi-autos etc. On the topic of other outdoor activities; You can only modify a 4x4 to a certain level, And once you do this there is just about no where to use it, Unless you can get access to a farm or other large property then you need to pay stupid fees to use your 4x4. The government have pretty much locked us out of our own bushes. I have a trail bike and it sits in the same spot for months because there is no where for me to ride it. It really is a shame what they do to such a beautiful country. Cape York is the only place we have been able to use our land cruiser in the past 2 years so we sold it.
Re: General discussion chat I believe the austrailian gun laws are like this. 1. pay a metric asstonne of money 2. take a test 3. pay more money 4. wait 5. buy a gun safe and have it bolted to (literally) at least one wall *and* the floor 6. take another test 7. wait 8. buy another safe *just* for the ammunition, it has to stay separate at all times. 9. get the pistol 10. legally you have to enter some sort of pistol sporting competition like twice a month or something,if you dont your gun gets taken away 11. legally you have to submit to completely random checks by government officials to make sure your wall-floor safe contains only a gun, and your ammo safe contains only ammo. if they find one thing wrong, they take it away on the spot. im feel sorry for austrailian gun lovers. And i also feel sorry for austrailian offroad lovers
Re: General discussion chat And what if you need to protect yourself from a berserk kangaroo? You drift over it at 140mph with a cow in your ute? Czech Rep. is actually one of the most freedom countries gun-wise You can get a license by doing test of sorts, if you state a valid reason why you actually waht the gun, getting the licese will be easier, and then you can get a gun. No automatics, but other than that you can have everything from 9mm's to 12g's. Actual use is still pretty sketchy tho. You can take it with you and stuff, but you generally cannot show it in public, so you have to have it hidden away under a coat of sorts. I think that when i get older i might well get a pistol, just for going to shooting ranges and drive-bys in my felicia (center console pwnage) i am going to have. Also the fun factor about gun laws here is that if you have a Airsoft gun, you can have a airsoft gun, and it does not need to have any sort of proof that it is an airsoft, no orange plastic shit.
Re: General discussion chat Guns are a lot of fun. I just went shooting with these a few weeks ago. The gun on the bottom is my dad's. It's a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 VTAC II (Another picture of it below). The rest of the guns are my uncle's. I don't know make and model of the AR15 on the top, but the .22 is a Ruger 1022, and the there is the AK-47. The AK-47 is a lot of fun to shoot. The round size is huge so it's got quite the kick. We also have two 12 gauge shotguns (one is a remmington 970), a remmington model 597 .22 rifle (my gun), a Remmington model 40 .22 rifle (I think?) from like 1940, another old .22 rifle, a Smith & Wesson M&P 22 semi-automatic .22 pistol, and a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver. Edit: I forgot we also have a Baretta M9
Re: General discussion chat Guns are pretty much flat out illegal here without a permit and even then its very restrictive, honestly I don't mind not being shot.
Re: General discussion chat The vic is a auto only car (because 'Murica) so it has no need for a center console, also you can have a stick shift without a console, it would be a floor shifter is all Personally I prefer column shifters over console shifters Sent from the 3rd galaxy via the talks of tapping
Re: General discussion chat Ford never sold a Crown Victoria with a manual. Therefore, you just called almost every Crown Vic ever wrong. Please stop talking.
Re: General discussion chat I just realized that we started talking about guns. Am I seriously the only American on these forums who hates guns?
Re: General discussion chat Every crown vic ever is wrong. Except the one on youtube which had a 5 speed manual modded into it.
Re: General discussion chat FTFY, as the crown vic is an amazing vehicle, and still is (IMO, it was a huge mistake for ford to stop production of it) the transmission choice ford made is wrong however
