I read it as sand-eating wheel bug. So like the wheels ate the sand, but then I realized it can go both ways :p

Got the very first released version of the game, I like to just see what progress the devs have made over the last year.

Take it from me: ABS is a bitch on wet brick.
Especially when you're going way too fast and brake as late as possible.

Slid into the grass and then a flowerbed.
    Damn abs
I've never really been in that position before. I was standing on the brakes, but they weren't stopping the car. Heard and felt the abs, and knew exactly what was going on and that I wasn't gonna stop in time. There wasn't even anything in the way that I could hurt/would hurt the car, and still felt so helpless. Couldn't imagine if it was a person or something that was in the way .

Task manager not responding, explorer.exe shutdown and no way to open CMD. At least Firefox is still working fine.
Yep, Windows is fucked up. Time for a reinstall.

oooo, task manager being utterly useless(refused to update, took ages before it actually finished opening) is why i had to do that refresh i did a while back that i was talking about a few posts earlier... beamng was also the ONLY video game that would actually open, all others just started for a second, then stopped trying to run

never had explorer.exe shutdown that i remember, have you tried the windows key + R shortcut, then explorer.exe? (or windows key + r and CMD)

Awesome. I hate the newer giant kind of pickup. My grandpa has a nice Ranger and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way about the new pickups since he bought a small hatchback just so he didn't have to put as many miles on his Ranger.

Yeah, my old D630 had an Nvidia GPU. Failed in like 4 months and for a few months after that I kept it alive by reflowing it every month. Never overheated or even got close. (I replaced it with an Intel GPU board and sold it after that.)

So I was rewatching the Roadkill Monza episode and I was thinking if it would be possible to take a turbocharger, remove the exhaust part, stick a small engine on it (Like a chainsaw engine) and use it as a lag-free supercharger for your car engine? Or would it need something better than a small 2 stroke to spin the turbo?

no. Think about the amount of exhaust gas a 2 litre engine requires, that is how much is required to spool the turbocharger.
Electric motors wouldn't work either, it actually takes incredible amounts of power to spool a turbo even for 1 psi, if I wasn't on mobile I'd link to a thread on another forum where someone does the maths.

The best you are really going to get with no lag is a supercharger in which case a centrifugal supercharger is already the compressor half of a turbo driven mechanically.

An awesome one is what some ships have. Hybrid supercharger/turbocharger. Its a turbocharger hooked up as normal, but it also has a clutch which can be engaged to spool the turbo externally, this then links it to the engine like a centrifugal supercharger. Low RPM, open the wastegate on the turbo, engage the clutch, bam, supercharged ship, at a higher RPM, disengage clutch and open wastegate to let the turbocharger break free.

Or of course you do get engines which genuinely have both. Super and turbo in either series or parallel. Actually heard of a car with a supercharger, small turbo and large turbo all in parallel once, custom job I assume.
