Re: General discussion chat I don't get what all the fuss is about, Who cares about how it bends. I make any phone bend when I put it in my Vice.
Re: General discussion chat Not every phone bends with your bare hands, or if you put it in your back pocket. That's the thing.
Re: General discussion chat It's like a meal wrapped up in a...pocket. - - - Updated - - - You might be surprised how easy most other phones will bend.
Re: General discussion chat Honestly I couldn't care less about phones anymore, I brought three Iphones, Every time I bought one a new device would come out 1 month later.
Re: General discussion chat The front end is inspired by the Ferrari 308, also the reason for the black line going through the car (it's not black in the drawing, it starts in the front intakes and ends in the rear diffuser). The headlights go in the front bumper, like the secondary/fog lights in 1980's supercars. Originally I'd made a rear end based slightly on a BMW M1 but it looked a bit weird so I changed it. Still much harder to bend than the 6+. The Nokia didn't even bend at all, lel.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah, but I don't really understand the big deal. It's big, thin, and light. What do you expect?
Re: General discussion chat Because it's utterly retarded for a phone to bend resting in a loose front pocket?
Re: General discussion chat It bent when people wedged them down into the pockets of skinny jeans. Like girls when they put the phone like halfway in their back pocket then sit on it. What the fuck do they expect to happen?
Re: General discussion chat A tech blogger reported his bending within 24 hours of purchase in the thigh pocket of loose combats. For most people, its been plain old trousers, nothing overly skinny, its bent. Quite alot of reviewers are turning around and saying theirs no longer rest flat on a table anymore while suffering the same treatment as rival devices. It just seems to be a case of iPhone 6+ being far too thin for a device with that frontal area. There is a limit to how small things should go.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah I've kinda wondered when we would reach the limit. The combination of a huge, thin phone and them trying to make it as light as possible makes for a weak phone. I am kinda wondering what the screen is made of to make it not crack when the phone is bent. It isn't plastic is it?
Re: General discussion chat More relevant is when the limits of silicon processors will be reached. You can only get the transistor density so much smaller before quantum shit gets real.
Re: General discussion chat a teacher had his iphone six in his ass pocket and he bent it and smashed the screen
Re: General discussion chat A guy that keeps his phone in his back pocket? @below: Holy shit I didn't even notice. I'm not sure how to go about this. 2k ....2.......FUKKEN K
Re: General discussion chat what does shift V do i saw it in a post and cant remember what it does - - - Updated - - - post again youll have 2000
Re: General discussion chat Too big, too light and too thin. Apple needs to take a lesson in physics.
Re: General discussion chat Ugh. I really hate writing college application essays. The prompts are so generic. I mean, seriously? Give me something original to write about. I can use any one of my other thousand essays to fit in these prompts. I want to actually have the chance to write about something I care about. Oh well. Hopefully they just glance over my essay and focus on my grades more than my writing ability.
