I always thought being a detective would be a nice gig, but that's probably one of those jobs that you soon realize "I ain't cut out for this..." I also wanted to be a water cop for awhile. Seems like a fun gig, you get the usual gov't benefits and drive a cool boat... I probably would've been happy with anything of the sort, but... Whatever, I'm happy with my current line of work.
I'm sure I'm wildly romanticizing the job, but I'd figure a PI would be a fun gig. No reports, you choose your clients. Not normally as exciting, but gunfights and car chases aren't fun while you're in them anyway.
I imagine that as a PI you get to drive some cool cars too. Or at least that's what the movies have me believe; I wouldn't know.
At this point I feel it would be appropriate to mention that the cars which blend in best with traffic are probably not the best for a chase or a fight.
My ideal movie PI wakes up after dark, then washes some painkillers down with something bottom-shelf. He then proceeds to stare through the blinds at the rainsoaked skyline while his internal monologue says something cynical and brooding. And it's all in black and white of course.

Well, I changed my profile again for like the 5,000th time or so. Before I end this post. I looked through a few of my old posts and I didn't like them at all. I saw some I made tonight while looking through @CN877's posts. His older posts (from when I was GWMan) are still good to this day, tbh. I would really love to hear feedback on the quality of my posts. Anyways, goodnight everyone.
Something about there being a particular size limit where they're functional, but I don't remember much why that was the case.
