Probably because the devs thought the thread was gonna get ugly. By the way, I think they were talking about some kind of hotfix on thread that removed cars from the game.
tfw when I literally made a post in that thread which should've made it kinda obvious then a post literally minutes later falls for it again. Honestly I don't get how some people do actually fall for it...
Minecraft theory time. I just beat the game for the first time so I guess it's kind of appropriate. Spoiler First off, I would like to give a shout-out to MatPat (Game Theory) for being Wrooooooooong! Every time! I know he "solved" Minecraft's lore, and I'm going to ignore him because his theory is bunk. His story about the "long-gone ancient race of builders" collapses as soon as you gather your friends and hit "Open to LAN." The super-builders didn't go anywhere, they just haven't logged in for a while. Anyway, we will assume 1.16 is the definitive version of Minecraft, and in many ways, it is. Here's a hot take about the Endermen: they don't come from the End! They can be found in the Warped Forests of the Nether just as commonly as in the End. The only way to get to the End is through a portal, and the only way back is... well, there isn't one until you beat the Ender Dragon. It is reasonable to suppose that the journey to the End was a one-way trip for the longest time, until the player showed up. The End Portal, then, must have been made from resources that were once found, or could once be made, in the Overworld - until the first portal was made, there was no way in or out of the End, and when it was made, there was a way in, but never a way out. However, Endermen occur throughout the Overworld and Nether from the very start of the game, long before the last Ender Dragon's demise. They could not have come from the End. This leaves the Overworld and the Nether as the only two options for their homeland. Now, we must ask: why does water hurt Endermen? The fact that they are ill-suited to swimming, or so much as standing in rain, leads me to believe they came from somewhere with no water - but the End is not an option, as I have explained. Note that they occur in large numbers in the Nether's Warped Forests, the Ender Pearls are colored more similarly to things found in the Warped Forests than to anything found in the End, and the Eye of Ender - the possibility of which the Endermen are aware ("look for the eye") - can be crafted entirely in the Nether using Blaze Powder. The so-called "End"ermen seem to have more in common with the Nether than the End, which is why I think they must ultimately be from the Nether. Obviously, this is not a grand unifying theory of Minecraft - indeed, I do not believe such a thing exists, nor should it. I think it is more fun to piece together your own lore than to follow what the developers intended, or rather what some dope on YouTube claims they intended. Minecraft is not a single, monolithic narrative; it is a collection of concurrent stories, most importantly including yours.
1. Yeah, they do. I also think the female characters are hot. 2. I think Ariana Grande is overrated too. She doesn't sing very well at all in my opinion. She might even be a worse singer then Hayley Williams (from rock band Paramore). That's saying something. @appesh1, I dare you to write 2 sentences on Improvement Pill (aka Authority Phil). He's a total pain pill.
Can somebody PLEASE get people to stop rating my posts informative? Literally all I see is this: @Cory5503 and @Tuner from America, I'm talking to you. --- Post updated --- take note of the "alamy stock photo" it's not important... --- Post updated --- you knew I would do it... <--- --- Post updated --- and, apparently, @MrChickenDude
