Same here. It looks like the new design was done in favor of mobile devices, which does not make sense on a desktop at all.
Offtopic for the offtopic section because this is on topic, but there's no general on topic thread so I'll but my general Beam related comment here... I've been doing some of the old scenarios since I got a G29 and for the first time I read the tips for East Coast Chase 4. "BeamCom still hasn't fixed the internet at the police station. no more waiting on hold, it's time to convince them in person. Stop the van." That's amazing. --- Post updated --- Youtube has an issue it shouldn't have with that though. Between Youtube Kids and the 13 years of age limit, this just should not be an issue. Yet, they are taking the opportunity to screw over content creators instead of actually doing what they are supposed to do.
Also love when they also can manipulate your channel's options from your preset to "For Kids". I seriously don't get what they're trying to hint with this completely bastardized issue.

Very offtopic, but why do cheap electric heaters have the worst thermostats in the world? Yes the cheap ones I can forgive, but say a more expensive one, like the dimplex glofanthe thermostat is in the top, right by the control panel. Obviously when the call for heat is up, the heater shuts off, and the residual heat from the heating elements causes the heater to think the room is very hot, and thus it quickly gets cold in the room again, and you have to hope that it will cool down again soon, or adjust the setting again to get it to kick on, and the fan then runs. Silly design. I have a vintage phillips fan heater which has the fan always running (yay but when cold drafts not good) and the thermostat is next to the intake so is always accurate, but a bi-metallic thermostat from the 1970s is not going to hold temperature brilliantly, and has a huge hysteris anyway. Anyway, heating the room with fan heaters isn't ideal, lots of electric use. So i want to get a personal heater, sounds like a cool idea 250w heater. why do they have thermostats for the room. The room will not heat up much with 250w and because its 250w it will be placed next to you, the user. Heating the room is not the goal.. Why not put a thermostat that is deliberately sensing the outgoing air stream, then it is a truly adjustable heater! OR use a thing called PTC heater that has been around for ages, and add a simple PWM DC fan on the back, granted it will be a bit more expensive say £30-40 but given its infinitely adjustable, and doesn't have ridiculous control (either all on or all off) it is well worth it i guess. For now, i better put on a jumper [/rant]
