Re: General discussion chat (imported from here) On one side, I hate how they take features that other phones already had and pass them for "innovative and new". Just heard on the News the other day that they said the Apple Watch is the first Smarthwatch to be able to monitor your health and etc. Doesn't the Samsung Gear do that too? On the other side, they will actually use NFC for something. Yep, most Android phones already had it, but have you ever used to pay for something? The only thing I used it for was to share some files quickly. As newer phones comes out, I feel like they are rising the base price even more. I mean, 1299$ for the Iphone 6 Plus? What the hell? First I thought that 500-600€ for a phone was a lot, then they started to sell with the base price of 800€, and now this. Meanwhile I will enjoy my Nexus 4 till it goes. My next phone will probably be another Nexus, those things are great for modding, and the price is actually reasonable.
Re: General discussion chat This is the reason I bought a Samsung galaxy Y for £50, it can still browse the Internet alright if needed and does everything I need a phone to. Then I use my Tegra Note 7 tablet for the Internet which it can do just as well as a laptop and again it was only £90 new and has miles better performance than the iPhone. I could buy both of them twice and still have some left over from the price of an iPhone.
Re: General discussion chat Pay for something? No. But I have an NFC tag on my sunvisor to trigger the phone to enable bluetooth and try to pair with my handsfree kit.
