I am beyond sick right now... My head feels like an overheating old laptop. My inner ear is messed up so I actually have to focus on walking or I'll fall down. Every part of my body hurts. My throat is so congested its kind of a challenge to even breathe. I'm couchridden right now.
That's pretty normal for me. Especially when winter is the time of being constantly, non-stop ill, like Carbohydration there
And because I hadn't broken enough headphones this December, pair number 3 has decided to kick the bucket... Why are they all breaking at the same time? What did I do wrong?
My cat is running around now.. Thanks. to the person who rated this awesome: Umm.. So you think it's awesome for my cat to become deaf? Nice.. i guess...
If they're dropping channels I'd assume it's either wires breaking off or you're playing them too loud or on a device that has distorted output and frying the voice coils. If they're physically falling apart perhaps you're just a little too heavy handed with them
I know that my little sister had chewed so much on the wires for her old set of headphones that she actually broke the wiring for one of the speakers, thereby breaking the set.
Yeah, it's the wires. It's probably due to me not treating them that well, but I don't know... I didn't think I was being too harsh on them. Guess I was wrong.
Buy a cheap 30w soldering iron, some 60/40 lead solder and fix them. it's fairly easy, I replaced the cable on my headphones with the cable from a old pair of 70s headphones because I was sick of having to use adapters for a pair of headphones that I only use with gear that all uses 1/4" jacks.
Me? With a soldering iron? That'll end well... Really though, why I could probably manage the actual soldering bit, I wouldn't even know where to start. None of these things look like they're meant to be taken apart, and I'd probably just end up breaking them more if I tried forcing them. I've needed a new headset with mic thing for awhile now anyway. The one I've got is pretty heavy, and my neck doesn't approve atall. I wouldn't mind fixing the normal pair of headphones, but again, they don't look like they come apart atall
I see... Well, Maybe I'll try fixing them myself. If not now, then probably at some point in the future (I have a bad habit of keeping broken stuff). But don't get your hopes up. I struggled to get the ear cups back on
Ew, Apple is pushing people, including me, to install High Sierra and lets the App Store automatically download its annoyingly shitty installer. Remember that I downgraded from High Sierra because it was buggy as hell and unbelievably slow and unresponsive. Running El Capitan still, would upgrade to Sierra if I want to but I'm avoiding High Sierra at all costs. I just followed a tutorial to prevent that from happening again. Now I want to find out a way to downgrade Safari to version 10 (Safari 11 is a ram hog). "Your Mac. Elevated" my ass
Got a new profile pic. Looking into a name change. Probs gonna have it changed to "PyroShepherd" AKA My fursona. --- Post updated --- My dog just got his head stuck in a chair and then went like "RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUWWUWUWWWWUWUUUUU" in a super deep tone sounding like some dude was moaning. I'm dead.
