Bait crates to trigger cops? WTF does that even mean? I think EA wants to hide the shitty cop ai as much as possible
Which idea? Needing to bait cops for them to appear in the first place? Many racing games have done that in the past not only The Crew.
Ghost is a joke. They did such a crappy job with the 2015 NFS. It's always raining (in California too, wtf) and dark outside, the driving mechanics are some of the worst I've ever seen, and the game forced you to always be online, despite never needing to play with anyone else at any point in the game. I got it on sale for my XBox, and was still disappointed in it. From what I've heard, they also ban or ignore any criticism of the game from the subreddit. Needless to say, I don't have high expectations for any of their other games.
Anyone else here find that reading academic papers is often way to difficult? It's often hard to finish a sentence without forgetting the first half of it. At which point deriving meaning is impossible. Rereading doesn't seem to help much either, because with each iteration I still don't find myself remembering more than the last one. Perhaps its because I am so mentally occupied by trying to parse what they are saying at this given second that I can't keep what they said before in my head. However I rarely have these issues when listening to people speaking, things seem to "just work" inside my brain when doing that.
No, I have no problem reading academic papers. In fact, I enjoy reading my history textbook a bit too much.
Textbooks are completely different than most academic papers. Imagine the most technical and dry textbook you've ever read, and they're usually twice as bad as that.
Windows keeps restarting my download of Forza Motorsport 7 everytime the internet speed slows down to low kb/s and it's annoying as hell. It restarted 10 times today, the furthest it got was 30%... ...on a 100 GB game...
Where else am I supposed to download the game (on PC that is)? The computer has a few updates it needs to do so hopefully one of those should fix this.
Imagine reading a textbook. Now imagine that half the words were replaced with the most obscure thesaurus results. Now imagine that the sentence structures are overly long and confusing. hopefully this should be a short enough extract to provide my point without getting myself sued into oblivion for sharing copyrighted academic content. And to be clear I am not singling out the work of this author as being bad, its actually often rather interesting. I just find it difficult to read this sort of stuff.
Those are words, they have meanings, combined into a sentence they even have a bonus meaning, I don't know their meaning
I use the school wifi to download mods/updates/etc to my thumbdrive, then install it on my main PC. That's a whole new level of sad.
