So it would seem my landlord is now getting the maintenance team to search through the bins, they were pulling out things like unwanted cloths and putting them in boxes. So presumably its some sort of charity thing. But I am pretty certain that is kind of illegal, especially since they were taking note pads without checking them and I could have sworn they pulled a laptop out of there. --- Post updated --- So... I just went to main desk to ask about the hot water. I also decided to ask why there are staff sifting through the bins, their response was "don't know". So I am now somewhat confused. I am gonna give benefit of the doubt that it is incompetence and not malice.
I think my graphics card in my main PC just died I've been having a few startups this week where CPU is pinned at 100% for about a minute, not sure if this has anything to do with it. I was starting it up today, got the stupid 100% CPU for a while, just as it seemed it had calmed down my main monitor (on DVI) went blank, and my other monitor (on VGA) showed a pile of purple/grey squares. I turned it off by holding down the power button, and tried rebooting, however this time my monitors wouldn't turn on automatically, leading me to believe there was no signal. I turned it off again, turned off the PSU for a couple of seconds, turned it back on and booted up. This time I made sure that the monitor was awake at least, but the main monitor had no signal and the VGA monitor showed Out Of Range with some red squares down one side. Any advice, or things I can try to see if it isn't dead? I really need this up and running again soon, or I'll have to pull the files I need onto my laptop and use that for a while instead. The GPU is an ASUS AMD Radeon HD 7950 Direct CU II (longest name ever) that I bought on ebay a while ago. It's never given me trouble before, so it going out like this is very strange.
Sounds like it could be the graphics card but it could also be a memory Issue, try swapping out the memory with a good known stick or try one idividual stick of memory at a time.

If the devs are not currently comfortable with people posting on this topic in a dedicated thread then they are going to be far less comfortable with the discussion overflowing all over the forum. They are already facing a tough challenge as it is, no need to make it harder for them by causing extra moderation work. Give it some time for them to get things to get sorted out. Then we'll see what happens after.

I had already seen that before I found out about Community Screenshots being locked. It said nothing about it.
So you're conveying that they locked it because of Narwhal? I understand that things are going to be tough because of his passing, but now what confuses me is why did the Community Screenshots needed to be closed?
Because there were a lot of people making posts there after the original thread on the subject was deleted. So presumably they locked the screenshots one until things calm down a bit.
