I think My Summer Car has taken over my life 22 hours in and I haven't even gotten my car moving. So I decided to put my save file here for anyone who knows how to get the car running and moving. The engine runs but it doesn't go into gear for some reason.
What do you think of the game? I wanna get it but i don't want it to be a game like some have described goat simulator. Funny the first couple of hours and then it's just gets old and boring.
The illuminati is now watching over you... Saw some neat vehicles while out and about today. There was also a Ferrari and an old MG but didn't get photos of them. And then there was also this...
My uncle had a 3.2 litre VR6 New Beetle. The engine was kind of a lemon though, kept going wrong, so he got rid of it 2 years later. Where were those pictures taken? I have a strange deja vu feeling about it, but I can't place where it is...
Lincoln Its not necessarily the (old new) beetle that is questionable even if I don't like them. The Green and Orange colour scheme on the other hand certainly leads me to believe poor life choices have been made by that person
As far as I can tell its impossible to say for sure right now. For this game I would recommend waiting until it is in a more final state. Mainly because the developer doesn't have any games already published, but also because MSC seems to have a fairly large scope. Generally unproven developers + large scopes lead to bad things, however there is the occasional exception.
You mean close to release? From what i read that would take year or so according to devs. I get your idea but that's way ahead.
I would say a year is possible quite optimistic for that game. However it is very possible that like many other early access games the dev might try and rush it in order to get the game out asap. Or they might take longer and finish the game properly in which case it could be many many years away. If it was a developer who had good quality past products then it would be a much safer bet. But the dev has never released anything before, all anyone knows for sure is that they were capable of bringing the game to where it is now. However no one knows if they are capable of finishing it, never mind making it somewhat polished and without bugs. Equally no one knows what the development pace is going to be like either. Or if the dev is likely to disappear. Another general rule is that you should only buy early access if you are happy with the game as it is now assuming it will never receive an update ever again. Although there is no guarantee that a game may become buggy, slow or broken in later versions. So yes, my point was that you should probably wait. Unless you are terminally ill and not likely to last that long.
Ugh Managed to break the earpiece on my phone today, have no idea how it happened. There's a small tear all the way across the plastic film and I can't hear anyone unless I put them on speakerphone. I'm getting a OnePlus for Christmas anyway :/ I'll give this to my brother (yes the one who broke a business-grade dell laptop) to replace his iPod touch 4th gen... cant be bothered to embed.
Chances are that you can probably repair it if it is a popular model of phone. There are many companies online that sell spare parts from used phones (and some new parts too).
Yeah :/ I hated the grill design on the front anyway, gets crammed full of stuff from your pocket and then it's really hard to clean. I prefer the design on the Moto X 2014 which I could've bought but I was an idiot and went for the G 2015. Snapdragon 410 vs. 801? No chance.
I downloaded it, and I have the opposite problem with your car. The engine won't run for more than a second, but the gears work fine. But I fixed the engine (sort of...): Unscrew (scroll down) on the idle screw on the carburettor like 10-15 times and make sure the choke is all the way in. This way, it'll start, idle, and if you floor it, it will slowly build revs. I managed to get it driving down the road from the house but then I ran out of gas before I got 100m away, so that's another problem.
I mean that's the coolest thing about this game it really feels like you are working on a car trying to figure out problems. I'm guessing the engine is running too rich or there is a fuel leak somewhere.
Anyone else think that there should be a general games discussion? I've been thinking about making one in Off Topic > Other Games.
You are definitely right and you have a good point but it just pains me to see the "random game screenshot thread" blow up with posts from that game.
