Well, that was a really dumb thread. (Which was swiftly dealt with by an admin)

 

Yeah. What happened in the end? I stopped watching partway through.

 

Nobody has been banned, just the thread being deleted. I imagine there are a number of very angry PM conversations going on right now... IMO the pirate should be perm-banned, but I'm not a moderator, so my opinion really doesn't count for anything.

 

I checked his profile, and he isn't banned, but it said he was engaged in a conversation...so you're probably right about your first point.
I guess we'll see what will happen.

 

Beamng is about cars. Not houses. So that thread was pretty useless and stupid.

I guess you need some more RAM.

 

I've got 16GB. Utah is just a memory hog.

 

I have 8gb and it seems to run fine on my end. Are you sure you don't have like 100 programs running at once?

 

Yup, @VeyronEB has 8GB of RAM and is constantly crashing

I guess it is one of those maps where some people have problems with it while others don't, maybe I haven't used the map enough to find these problems.

I will play on the map for at least half an hour and see if it crashes.

nope hasn't crashed on me yet maybe it depends on the graphics settings

 

And yet, over here in Robin land, everything works correctly for once.

It's nice to see other people struggle for a change. Usually I'm the one struggling. It's a breath of fresh air.

 

Utah causes beamng to increase to 3.2/3.3gb ram used for me. But I have 8. Runs fine here

Welp, that is funny. One of the school computers had its BIOS edited to make the fans run at max, leading to the discovery that the BIOS is not locked on any of them. This may get interesting.

 

I have 8GB RAM and it doesn't crash on Utah for me, but just very rarely when i spawn a few cars, mostly T75s.

 

I get 2.5GB ram usage reported in task manager from BeamNG on Utah while using D15. I have 8gb of ram.
