Thanks man, but don't feel obligated. If you happen to have money left over after you buy stuff for yourself I wouldn't say no, but don't make it the first thing you buy. ;)

£230 thus far. A desk lamp, an alarm clock, the usual socks. Thats about it.

Parents and a few relatives decided that as I am having problems, money would be best. And considering we're not a well off family, £230 is good cash that is pretty damn appreciated. Still got to see a few relatives on dads side today.

Oh "partner" got me a nice memory foam pillow, that was an early gift considering when I get to see her and incredibly nice to sleep on :) Her grandparents also got me £30 in steam wallet vouchers, highly unexpected. Officially our "relationship" is platonic only, thats also their understanding, yet they have effectively gone out of their way to give their granddaughters friend a gift.

I got my PC upgrade and £45 to spend. I might get some more cash soon but I don't know yet. This totals out at £260 - 280.
I'm either waiting til March to get a Meizu M2/Elephone P8000/Meizu M2 Note/UMi Hammer S etc, or getting DIRT Rally.

Well I got some rather neat stuff. After my mom asked and I said I don't want much, she only went away, thought about it... remembered I'm a reenactor and got me a bunch of historical medieval eating stuff... plate bowls.. spoon... knife and eating pick. I seem to have a sorely neglected part of my living history sorted at this point thanks to her.

    I'm over the moon.

I only got classy cufflinks and a new belt. :p

But I didn't really wish anything either, but dad said that he can buy me something if something comes in my mind. Probably gonna ask him for a new pc screen or a helmet cam (or some sort of action cam like GoPro).

Hi. I used to be an active user on the RoR forum somewhat until the BeamNG. drive forum rolls around.
To be honest. I haven't touched RoR eversince i played BeamNG.drive.
Anyways... I tried to log on to the RoR forum but it say i was banned. So i get my phone and go to the forum. And the screenshot below is what i get.

Any idea of what happened to RoR?

That just makes me sad. I think, if I remember correctly, it was the first true game (except flash games) I ever played when I got my computer (Macbook Air, ugh). I remember enjoying it even at 20fps and I spent a lot of time online with other players, testing Gabe's cars. Now it's like Wheelie said, just less than 1000 people fighting each other rather than playing the game ...

Wow, I'm absolutely amazed at the quality of pictures this thing can take. And I can barley use the camera even :p

tonight I don't feel so good. Emotionally that is. It's probably been triggered by how overtired I've been the last week. It's a common theme, I get tired I get depressed. Always have done. Tonight, tears have even been shed silently as I've curled in a ball and made a startling realisation.

    this building I am in.
I spent my teens growing up here. And yet I have few glowing memories of it. Since I've been gone at uni, my brother and i's room has been turned into a room for my little sister. My only personal space has gone, this Christmas break I've been sleeping on an airbed on sisters floor, the only privacy I've had in a week has been when I go take a shit.
    this building.
I grew up here. It should be my home. But it has changed.
    it is not my home.
I don't want to see it.

no good memories, my personal space destroyed. This is no longer my home and I am not happy being back.

    I want to go home

My room hasn't really changed. Just that my mum now uses my desk for work when im not at home. But i do miss my flat and the student lifestyle, parents home is nice, but ultimately not massively interesting. Whereas i can do as i wish when i wish at uni. Which is nice.

Also, since when did 4k ips get so cheap...

Obviously its not going to be the best monitor ever but I would be tempted if i wasn't keeping money in reserve for vr when that comes around. SInce vr will probably fill the immersion gap a fair amount.

Then again you do have to pay a pretty sum for postage, i think i still have free next day delivery from having used av forums anyway.

    Are the pictures grainy?

Anyway, I got a couple organ(yes, the instrument) instructional books, so I can hopefully move along with learning how to play the two organs I have.
