not really when I was typing up the sentence it shows you how people overreact over small sentences heck in real life I'm the complete opposite of an ass.
Listen, I don't want to get involved in this, but the way you post almost seems like you are trying to attract flak. Yes, people will give you a hard time here, but that's only because they know you, and they know what you're like. But what you said sounded pretentious, insulting and arrogant. It's like you expect people to be checking and anticipating your arrival like a king. Then, you insult them when they don't care (spoiler alert: if it was me they wouldn't either, nobody really cares to begin with). Perhaps read your posts outloud, and maybe you'll see why people think you're acting like an ass Just read: " It took you that long to notice." sounds like: " It took you THAT long to notice?" sounds like: "Wow, it took you THAT long to notice?" which begins to imply insult. The point being, you're not a bad person, we don't hate you, it's just that mastering the skill of text-based communication or communication in general is not an easy task. Just try to be more polite, constructive and respectful. The forum is constructed of mostly young adults who don't want to talk to you like your mates at school do.
made two microwave american popcorns i bought at the shop today i can already feel the freedom kicking in
thank you for the tip I guess I need to spend more time on my typing skills its not an easy task for me but I guess its a learning curve for me teaching me how to act around adults. lets look at Jetcoasterfan for example how his posts sound like he's twelve but his accual age is 24 it shows you how a persons posts do matter to how he/she will be treated. I will try my best to improve but it won't happen over night.
That's pretty fucking low. Jetcoasterfan has a mental illness and for all we know you don't. Quit trying to excuse your behavior.
I forgot to mention that sorry I forgot to mention that he was on the autisim spectrum and that did come from someone who is on the spectrum.
jetcoasterfan is clearly autistic, but non aspergers. Aspergers I will admit leads to communications issues you exhibit, but jetcoasterfan is a different case. And before you spew something about how I'm clueless, I dont life with it or something like that, no, I've never been diagnosed, nor have family members, but I have dealt with several (and gotten involved with a society for) people on the autistic spectrum. I have close friends that campaign for autism charities, I have friends who are themselves autistic, I am well aware of the issues those with autism spectrum disorders may experience and well aware of the normal lives they may live. Aspergers is a rather high functioning form of autism really. Jetcoaster, nah, he aint so high functioning, or at least not as socially aware, his fault, no, thats just him.
I would of given you a thank but sadly I have ran out of thanks to give. lets change the topic before bad things happen.
k Anyways, my 6s has been delayed to late monday evening. So that's kinda sad. First world problems I guess.
alright, be nice. Give him a chance... If he really does get his act together then great, if not then the mods will do their job. No reason to incite further conflict.
Seriously guys, let's be nice. Stop piling on ktheminecraftfan. Remember when we were all waiting for the Race Update? This community was at its best then. Maybe it's a good thing that the devs pulled a Half-Life 3 with the Race Update. We were all on the same hype train, awaiting and preparing for a common destiny. Everything went to crap when someone (not naming names) posted a thread called "This Forum." There is definitely a positive feedback loop among the "senior members." They all reaffirm each other's beliefs of how this community should work, and reject those of others. We need to break this cycle. I joined this forum a long time ago, and pulled much the same crap as some of today's new members, and yet I have never gotten this kind of flack over it. If we would just open up to new ideas (the influx of which will increase as BeamNG gains popularity on Steam), we could relive the pre-"This Forum" days. We could once again become the warm, welcoming community we were during the Great Delay. Just my two cents. Feel free to ignore.
It's not like I'm planning on going around and beating him up on every post. It's just based on previous posts I find it pretty unlikely.
wise words man wise words. there is going to be members that are worse then me as the development progresses what we should do is ignore their faults and welcome them in open arms everyone here loves this game just as much as I do.
