I don't know what's going on in this image, but it can only be good so I'm thanking it anyway. Without getting into any details, I've suddenly got to wrap my head around IRC. I'm sure it's not that difficult, but it's entirely new to me. Please correct me if I'm wrong, as this is based on a tentative internet search: I need to find and download a client IRC program on to my computer, run it, and connect to the specific channel I'm looking for. And assuming this is correct, does anyone have any recommendations for a free IRC program, or any further advice at all whatsoever?
