I think I'll stick with air cooling for at the beginning. If I can put those extra 100€ onto a GPU (Maybe a 1070?) that will be better.
And + the 1700 have a stock cooler, and the AMD Ryzen sotck coolers aren't as ugly as the Intel one.

Btw, what do you think of the mobo, tbh I chose it because it looks cool...

Technically, at the beginning I can stick with my actual GPU, I know 100% bottleneck, but 1k is a lot to spend on one go.

I'm not too interested by VR right now, but if it's get cheaper with time I'd like to build a computer capable of handle it.

Thanks alot for your help, it's precious for me :p

The Ryzen stock coolers are pretty good too, you might not even need an aftermarket one.

This, as long as you aren't overclocking I think all the coolers are more than capable enough. However overclocking would probably be best with a 212 EVO or similar, better to run like 20c cooler than possible than near a limit.

Intel stock is pretty bad still, but functional. AMD out of box, very much sufficient.

Drop in your system and use it as a rendering GPU, or fold on it, or dual monitors or crossfire (if possible), or ...

The GPU came from my dad's XPS 9100, after he replaced it with a 650 ti in 2013. As such, it's not designed for my case, which is a micro ATX case.

    Also I have a 1050 so I don't need it.

Cards aren't specific to case size...
They do have a length, though you tend to find even the longest enthusiast cards (which that is not) can go in micro atx

Early reports suggest more expensive than a 1080ti with a higher tdp but less performance than a 1080. Aka a complete fail

Quite clear at the moment that AMD are kings of the CPU game, while nvidia rule the gpu space

I'm kinda sad there's no AMD cards comparable to the GTX1070. I've always bought AMD cards, Just because I much prefer AMD mentality. And a long story in the familly with a shitty GPU called "Gizmo" and a world of issues.

    What's the best price/ratio 1070 in your opinion ?

Anyone excited about the Ryzen Threadripper 1950X?

It's got 16 cores, 32 threads, for about the same price as an i9 7920X.

I would if I had already a top notch PC. But with 1k I could basically build a new PC 10 times better than my actual one... So meh

Why does windows 10 not let me have over 900 instances of the same program running at once?

It seems to get a blue screen stop code error when i try to do that. It said "critical process died". My old windows 7 computer could have over 900 programs running at once. Once I had 1000 programs running at once!

You got that pretty cheap, dude, I paid over 500€ for my MSI 1070. Stupid cryptominers buying these cards like crazy and people who actually use them have to spend a fortune to get one....
    --- Post updated ---
I'd say get a 1070 or an RX 580 if you can find one for the original price...

Playing games on max for 3 years however is a bit more pricey. In fact to play all new games that come out in the next three years on max settings you probably need 2x 1080ti's which isn't really worth it if you ask me....

I dont think my power supply will make 2 1080ti´s what about the vegas? are they worth the money? The 64 air cooled would be what i would have in mind power wise or should i rather go with a 1080? Also will it bottleneck with my i5 6600K?
