We weren't arguing? 1. Being the thread creator doesn't make me any more important than anyone else :| 2. When did I 'humiliate' the game developers? If that's what you mean. k
Well, right now it's running 4.4GHz. Gigabyte 970A-UD3P. Cooling is an AIO 120mm water cooler I got cheap. At 4.8GHz and beyond it requires a lot of juice (Well over 1.5v) and gets pretty hot under load. (Throttles under Prime95.) Until I can lap the CPU and AIO then get better fans for the radiator I'm sticking at 4.4GHz.
I do have a 200mm top fan and space for a second one next to it.. And space for a single 200 or 240mm in the side panel.. But I need to save muh munies. D:
http://imgur.com/a/R1cXa not exactly all that easy to take the cpu out also laptop ram, so can't just buy a 775 board and put it in
I have way too much time. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bluescreen1985/saved/jCF323 https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bluescreen1985/saved/9BGwrH
It's an AMD build. AMD CPU, AMD RAM, AMD SSDs, AMD graphics cards... And all red of course. I was bored :| - - - Updated - - - Also, since I'm posting all of my builds here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bluescreen1985/saved/dzhTwP I rekt steam machines.
since were posting builds, a few of mine: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/logoster/saved/y7GwrH i also rekt the steam machines https://pcpartpicker.com/user/logoster/saved/cvdfrH
Since I might be going to Prauge this summer, I'm planning to get a 4160 with a MSI H97 board, 8GB of HyperX Fury RAM and a 212+ Evo. Is 280€ a fair price for that (Bosnia is around 350€)
because why not https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bluescreen1985/saved/Bpz9TW - - - Updated - - - It's not too expensive. Do you have a graphics card to use with that build?
Better get a car, at least you can get chicks with one. like this one i'd take that. and you will still have over 40€ to buy ice cream
Why? I bought it as a replacment for my 5450 and it chews anything i throw at it. I don't have the money to buy a new GPU every year or an CPU or other.
I just bought a Corsair Carbide 200R Mid Tower case, some cheap Asus CD/DVD-RW drive, and MSI Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard off Newegg. I already have a 850W modular PSU, and I'll eventually end up buying another AMD video card in addition to my current card. I'm going to end up using the majority of the hardware in my current machine for this one. Should work pretty decently for my needs. I'm very excited to build it, as I've been saving up for a while.
Anything below a 260X usually falls a bit short for gaming. If it does what you want then it's fine though.
i have a question. my new gtx 970 seems to take a long time to cool down after i play beam itll go to about 60 degrees should i drill some holes im my case near the fans or take the side of the case off?
