holy heckkkkkkkk lol
Is there a video of how to make skins for the CRD?
not that I am aware of but if you never used a paint editor you should learn how before you start making skins
speaking of skins, i'mm making an actually clean skin using paint.net (finally got it to work)
here's a sneak peak of my 1st test skin:
Something is up there man, I've landed tons of times like that with no issues. The dev team weakened the 4 link connections to simulate breaking and when a 4 link would bend irl. Bending isn't possible with that mesh so the latter was chosen to simulate it. Maybe a clean install of the CRD mod with some clearing of cache might help? But the base mod itself should break but it shouldn't break that easy.
I tried that but the .zip file on the website is bugged because it only spawns a simple d series instead of the actual CRD. I think it may be just a error in the coding of the vehicle which hopefully can be fixed!
Sorry about the confusion, the version of the mod in this link:https://www.beamng.com/threads/revamped-crd-monster-truck.55253/ isn't working for me. For some weird reason it only spawns a d series instead of the actual monster truck itself and I can change it to the monster truck! Just wondering if it can be fixed, that's all! Thanks!
It can certainly be fixed. You need to fix your installation, because that's definitely something wrong on your end.
But I did reinstall it several times and it didn't work!?
You probably installed it wrong several times... or you need to verify game integrity.
Well I found out what it was that was causing this to happen! I had a old sounds folder added to the .zip file which broke it, so I removed that sounds folder and it works! Hooray!
i did that to XD
does anyone know how to do the fire pyro?
Like for maps? That would be a particle emitter.
how do i make it appear when ever the truck hits a surtain ramp?
Ok guys I just saw @gameboy3800 's quick f150 test stream and that thing looks beautiful already but I do have a tiny bit of constructive criticism to give but don't worry im not expecting it by any means its just something that'd help i know you guys are busting your asses to getting it ready but i was thinking if you can make the bodies crumble a little bit more then pop right of especially the from clip or hood for example if i go for a moonwalk and i hit the front in the game it would instantly pop straight of but in real life it seems like if gets more crumbled and rolled up then just flying off. thats it its most likely easier said then done thats why i don't care as much but would in my opinion look a touch better still unbelievably realistic
