I like to call that late 80's and early 90's car look the "Semi Block Look."

This is supposed to be their "new flagship model"...

    ...and it looks horrendous.

Yeah, and that shit is supposed to compete against cars like the Atlas, Ascent, Highlander, Pilot, and Explorer. It actually looks worse than the Atlas (which I thought was the ugliest of it's segment), and way uglier than the others.

Also, Kia released the new gen Soul... now it's tainted.

The car looks fucking depressed... like I said before with the new GLE. But this takes the cake from the GLE.

Ugh. I’m a Soul. Maybe in my next life I’ll be an airplane.

I would say the Aztec resembles the new Hyundai.

Both are ugly and need to burn.

They're much better than that damn Hyundai at the top of this page though.

It looks like someone took GM's design language and tried to make it sporty, not really aware that part of why GM's boxes look quite well is that they don't look sporty.

Being new to the world of sealed beam headlights, I accidentally bought one that's the right size but incorrect wattage for my car. The manual calls for a 35/35W for the outer light of a four-light setup, and I got a 55/40W. Does anyone know if this will be problem or will it just be little brighter? If I'm understanding things correctly that would also mean an extra high beam, which is odd since I'm pretty sure the outer headlights already get brighter with the high beams activated, so maybe it's got the wrong ones in anyway. Or maybe I'm wrong, which is very possible.

It'll be noticeably brighter which could potentially be an issue anyway. Also it will draw more current in the lighting circuit which could lead to blown fuses or damaged wiring, unlikely but can happen. Has happened in BMWs from factory where they didn't spec the wiring to cope with tail lights, hazard lights and fog lights on at once, resulting in a wire literally melting and someone being killed when a black BMW broken down in fog on the road had no lights on...

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about, though I think I might have actually just found the exact model that's already on the car on Amazon. I'll double check but if it is I'll just get that instead. At least it wasn't a super expensive mistake.

It looks like it's making some kind of "-o-" face.

Honestly, Hyundai is really bad at designing nowadays IMHO. Just can't see any good in them.

FYI if you want to run brighter headlights without melting wiring you could buy (or build, but it's probably cheaper just to buy one) a wiring harness that uses a relay to run the headlights directly from the battery. I did that plus got some clear lens style headlights that diffuse the light with the reflector instead of a fluted lens and it made a world of difference on my Burb.

The G90 was a genuinely nice car, too.

The smoking tyre gave the G70 a pretty solid review the other day.

The sponsor section has an audio glitch, video starts at 1:40.

It seems to be in the deep. Maybe it just needs an invisible touch of prestige?

The problem is that the luxury buyers are like "I know what I like, and I like what I know." Also, Genesis is making sedans in the age of crossovers, and while they're good cars, when it comes to the luxury sedan segment, they won't turn it on again.
