That's it. It seems a lot of markets have been waiting too long for a Mustang on their shores.

I guess in a few years NZ is going to get a lot of used imports of mustangs from japan.

    (imported from here)

Mustang has been available here in the UK for ages. Dunno if they've always been LHD or something though, the camaro and challengers are both sold in the UK as LHD cars for whatever reason.

    EDIT:
Google confirms. Yes mustangs were sold here, they were indeed LHD.

    - - - Updated - - -

70% of UK models have the v8. The rest have the 2.3 ecoboost, the v6 was not offered for RHD models.
55% of UK models have the stick, the other 45% are sadistic motherfuckers who paid £1500 to ruin the car with an auto.
    80% are the fastback.

The black model looks much nicer. Since you cant see the black plastic guff on the rear panels.

The 2018 Holden Disgrace has been spotted in testing. Oops I meant 2018 Holden Commodore.

The buttresses are a façade, so it'll look less like a Merc CLS than the bodywork suggests, the depressions on the doors tell me the car isn't actually that fat, but the proportions are a little bit funky, and the waistline at the rear is way, way too high up. Rear wheels look too small as a result. German built means business as usual; all being rebadged Opels, aside from the VE and VF of course. Pretty sure Commodore was an Opel nameplate too. 8)

FWD is a shame though, this thing is more like a bigger Cruze than a proper Commodore. Bring back the Mount Druitt spec VL Turbo, I say.

Opel's build quality is not bad, but it's not amazing either. I lived with a pair of Astras and a VT wagon for a couple of years, couldn't really complain about them, aside from the Commodore's perpetually leaky rear main seal.

I was meaning to say not so great build quality especially compared to what comes out of japan.

Luck of the draw really. Like most cars, some people swear Opels are awful yet huge numbers of people use them daily and they last for years with decent reviews. All cars can have similar problems.

Besides at least its not a Jeep or Chrysler :p
