At least in America/Canada, hell no, dipshits crashed those Imprezas like a drunken mother in law at a wedding, in key words they're expensive. Get a Golf or a Opel/Vauxhall.
A bit off topic but with the Ssangyong Rodius I noticed it had a 140A alternator. That is good as when driving to france this summer the kids will be able to keep their gadgets charged up. But what i want to know is what amount of time can the radio be on for without starting the engine? Is 10 mins too long? Car had a new battery in december so its healthy. But for 10-15 minutes with just the radio on (Key on position 1) how long could it realistically go on for without damaging the battery long term? I think the battery Ah is 85
The more I see the prices of even semi base model Valiant Chargers the further I move away from my dream of owning one in the future. I hope they drop in value in 20 years time because its getting ridiculous.
Well it depends on peoples taste but unfortunately there are tonnes of 50 somethings who want these cars plus they have deep pockets atm. Its all nostalgia.
Yeah, blame the thief that stole her car. And I feel sorry to her. OT: https://paultan.org/2018/01/23/scientists-develop-carbon-fibre-base-stock-from-plants/ Does that means I could see a Golf or Fiesta with CF in the future? Maybe.
Of course, in my country Imprezas are one of the most expensive cars to insure because they crash all the time.
It's GM what do you expect? They do everything to kill off they're best brands and ruin they're remaining ones with ugly cars and stupid advertising.
So just a mind game if youd have to buy a hot hatch wich would you pick? For me it would be a close thing between the honda civic type r and the wrx sti with the sti just ahead
You could get the '72 AMC Gremlin with a 5.0 V8. It was quicker than most cars of it's time especially at it's $2200 price point. It was referred to as the "poor mans Corvette" A contender for one of the early hot hatches in my opinion.
Well, if I had to buy a hot hatch, it'd probably be a Fiesta ST. I've never driven a car with such fantastic dynamics. Behind that would be an AMC Gremlin X and a Peugeot 205 GTi.
