Hate it, the name Stinger fits because it looks like it got stinged, and I'd prefer a Kia Stonic over that.

I like almost all of the new Kia/Hyundai cars. They've done really well for themselves

    Indeed.

Peter Schreyer did great for Kia, literally turned their image upside down.

On the other hand, it's Hyundai's turn to hire a designer now. Like, anyone.

By making them jump on the 'giant nose grille' bandwagon? Well, at least their cars look better than anything else on it.

By giving their design some personality. Their grille isn't even that giant by nowadays' standards - Hyundais themselves have much bigger mouths.

The Koreans are yet to produce a proper stunning design or a genuinely beautiful car, but Kia definitely went from "Ugly Duckling" to "You Can Look At Me", which can't be said of Hyundai just yet.

I find Hyundai to be okay but their cars just appear very gene
You don't mess with the C-Pillar, period.

It's a throwback to the OG Whizzkid. Also, floating roofs are ugly.

It is. And it's also one of the least accomplished throwbacks I've ever seen.

It just doesn't work on the Ignis, and the competely random details in the back like the oh-so-'90s taillights with mismatched graphics don't do it any favor.

Ignis needs a complete redesign. Much like the rest of the current Suzuki lineup.

I hate throwbacks and retro-styling in general. You can't step into the same river twice.

The back is bad but I was pointing at the C-Pillar only, which I like very much. I find rest of the Ignis to be really well executed.
