In the UK Sedans are considered premium, even a beater Kia Sedan is looked good upon.
Well think of it this way, get a van and chop the rear roof off, high fuel economy pickup truck. It isn't a true pickup truck but still works. Honda kinda did the same thing, same layout as a van but with AWD for marketing. Because it is FWD 90% time then it uses less fuel, as it has less friction. Also lighter (i think?) than a Part time 4wd setup. As it is transverse there is no transmission tunnel too so interior space can be maximised.
Basically they did it FWD/AWD for packaging and fuel economy.
Why has it got a V6 though, wouldn't a 4 cylinder suffice, maybe a diesel? (or is this 'MURICA attitude?)

    1. "Thou shalt not judge a car by its drivetrain;"
@Slammington 's signature sums up this pickup truck madness :p

Seriously a pickup truck can be FWD only and in most cases you probably wouldn't notice unless you was pushing it a little too hard.

Around 1.40 euro/liter for petrol and 1.20 for diesel.

That's $6.3/gallon for petrol and $5.4/gallon for diesel, for you americans.

Well, there is in IMCDB in the Mad Max page, one of the cars is a Chevy C-10 and someone from Australia said that the C20 and K10 were the only ones sold in Australia.

In upstate New York, it's $2.69 (2.27 Euros) for petrol (or how us Americans and Canadians say "gas") and $3.07 (2.59 Euros) for diesel.

Gas here is about $2.09 but I just filled my gas tank for $1.81/gallon with a shoppers discount. Or about 0.40 Euro/Liter.
    Diesel about 2.70/gal I think.

Holy hell. So not only do most working class people make more than our doctors, you also get gas at a third of what we pay?

I want to live in this magical place.

    It’s super cute kawaii! (*^ω^*)

    I’d love to own one, despite a 3-speed slushbox being the only option. I’d prefer a 5MT Be-1 though. ( ^∀^)

An importer, most likely. It’s definitely old enough to be legally imported in the US.

I've been paying $2.67 a gallon for Premium in the G35 the last few weeks. It hasn't moved much since I brought it home the day before thanksgiving. First tank was $2.71 a gallon.
