Yeah insurance can be decently high, its also a red car so that adds to insurance. The RSX is one of the highest stolen vehicles where I live, but because I installed my dashcam it took 100 dollars off my monthly payments in insurance. So I only pay 35 dollars a month for my insurance.
get the BMW. a nice german luxury/sports car is always good, plus, aftermarket. --- Post updated --- I was watching barett Jackson auctions, when apparently this was up for sale. the actual F-150 raptor used in top gear was being sold. it reached $100,000. and all the money went to helping troops because it was henesssy selling it, not an independent seller.
Rumors are spreading that the new Renault Megane RS will feature AWD and 300+ horsepower to compete with the Ford Focus RS. Rumors also say it will feature the option of both a manual and a DCT transmission, which makes me happy because they learned from their mistake with the Clio RS. I cannot wait for these two to battle it out on the track.
Should be good. Us tuners officially have our work cut out for us keeping up with this new generation of hi tech turbo hatches.
Well, fuck General Motors. If you own a Chevy truck, like I do, one day the damn windshield wipers will stop working. They'll just straight up stop functioning at a moment's notice. Driving down the road, right, I can't see a thing and decide to deice the windshield a little bit. Spray some fluid, everything's going ok, then there's a click and the driver's side wiper just stops functioning. It just stops. And I'm driving down the road with people crossing and shit and I can't see a fucking thing because GM doesn't know how to make a vehicle that'll function correctly for longer than 100,000 miles. Oh well, at least I can get the window that only works 3/4 of the time looked at now too, I guess... And the distributor looked at because it's making a loud squealing noise, and the oil leak looked at, and perhaps some shocks put on it as well. It's not like I drive it hard either, if I'm mad I beat the shit out of the Corolla, that's why I own it. This crap just decided to stop working (except for the shocks which are basic maintenance). I'm slightly upset. I shoulda bought a Ford.
Ford's been having its own issues. Apparently their transmissions in the Ford Fusion have been having some problems.
Unfortunately the Fusion is no longer available with a manual. And it's a bloody shame, the EcoBoost would be fun with a manual. EDIT: Remind me to turn autocorrect off...
just for fun, most people know that honda engines are some of the finest in the world, however the same CAN NOT be said of their transmissions. I was told that GM designed at least the b series transmissions, and that is why they use 10-30 motor oil instead of the heavier gear oils. Honda MTF is GM syncromesh fluid is regular motor oil. im only shifting at 9500 rpm GM, thanks for garbage synchros and crap hubs. someone can do digging and find out how much truth there is to it but based off my experiences our manual trannies with stock internals are not up to the task.
We get some crappy 6 speed auto with paddle shifters. It's a real shame, honestly. I'm done with the whole Auto revolution thing over here. So many great vehicles sold here, but are Auto only. I'd love a nice, brand new pickup truck, but every single one is auto only now.
Just double checked, the Mondeo (a fusion) can have a 6 speed auto on the 1.5 ecoboost. But standard is a 6 speed manual on the 1.5, the 1.0 ecoboost is exclusively manual. 2.0 ecoboost is indeed exclusively automatic D:
