Codename Just like official cars have them, I needed something to call it while it was in development and before I had a name. Also my Beam Mountains map is like this, just not in the .zip name.
My turn to defend this; It isn't too small, unless the official content isn't properly scaled. And according to Wikipedia, its 4,625mm long, and 1758mm wide, and 1,214mm tall. And in Blender; The Vendetta is 4.5 meters long (A tad short, but this is due to a slightly shorter front nose than originally intended,) 1.2 meters tall, and 1.8 meters wide. I'd say this is damn close By camera being misaligned, can you provide a screenshot? I can possibly fix this for the next update. Thank you for your feedback. Otherwise, thanks for the compliment
The camera is indeed misaligned, it was a very easy fix, I just removed the X offset Replace these parts in the "sporter_bodytest" jbeam file with my code (just zeros out the X offset) starting at line 44 Code: "cameraChase":{ "distance":5.5, "distanceMin":2, "defaultRotation":{"x":0,"y":-12,"z":0}, "offset":{"x":0.0, "y":0.15, "z":1.2}, "fov":65, }, "cameraExternal":{ "distance":5.5, "distanceMin":2, "offset":{"x":0.0, "y":0.15, "z":0.4}, "fov":65, },
Thanks, I thought he was talking about the interior camera. I thought I had removed this offset, but I guess not. Will fix.
Quick question: I have built a 4-speed automatic transmission mod for the Barstow, would you mind if I also created a version for the Vendetta? I absolutely love this car, and I feel it would be even better with even more gears.
Whipped one up real quick. Here, you can have a go if you like. With the nice squishy torque converter it even shifts like a CVT.
I've built something like a dozen transmission mods. I've got this down to a science. --- Post updated --- Funnily enough, you could actually get a 4-speed automatic transmission in the Corvette C3. So if you want to incorporate that transmission into the actual mod, go for it.
Tonight, I'm adding horn support, will try to add N20 support, fix the exterior camera, among some other small things I've been noticing that can be fixed. If you guys find anything, let me know. Good to know. I may consider this for the next update. I just need to make a proper interior plaque (They go beside the shifter in the C3 corvettes,) to indicate a 4 speed auto. Right now, I'm just happy this wasn't a 2 week wait like it was with the Blue Collar series That way I can get it out, and take care of the major stuff I missed while I'm still at home, and can move, for the most part, in peace without having to try and find time to fix and re-upload a mod over a phone hotspot connection whilst on a mobile device.
All we gotta wait for now is Ivan the knob to reupload it and thank his friends for "developing" *cough cough* stealing the mod. Sadly. But I've got a way to take the site down.... The dumb bastard told me about how he makes money and sent me a screenshot of a money receipt. Putting viruses on a file and making money is not taken lightly here in Oz... Aussies get a peeved off when it happens and the site is accessible in Australia. Love the amount of time and effort you've put into this mate. I'm pumped as because the mini van and this have come out on the same day. And the AE86 isn't far away. Imagine when that comes out in the next few weeks. Get keen.
I agree, though, lets be honest; If it isn't Ivan re-uploading it, someone else will. It's just the nature of content; Even paid games get reuploaded. This world is full of greedy, ignorant little thieves, and sadly we just have to live with it. To be honest, I'm just grateful he didn't manage to leak it from my beta group beforehand. Groups on this site are a very touchy system; Even if you think they're "private", you can still get into them and steal stuff. Even if no one in the group has the intent to reupload, someone with that intent who you never invited can just come along and if the post's visible in the recent posts, just go right on in and steal it. Which is why I won't be using my beta group for the time being for sensitive betas. I wish people didn't re-upload stuff, but they do it anyway. Oh well, it's just a reality we have to deal with for the time being until the devs can incorperate some sort of DRM system for repository mods that prevents the mod from being properly re-uploaded on other sites, whilst still allowing for the mod to be thoroughly enjoyed and modified by the rest of the community, and ofcourse, the author. Thanks for the compliment I did put quite a bit of effort into this.
No worries mate and like I said I can have it taken down hopefully. And theres a chance he or his mates won't return because they can be arrested. 4 AUD (4 australian dollars might not be much (how much he gets a mod) ), but times that by 100 - 500 (roughly how many mods hes stolen)....
