I mean like the basic core game all the mods and stuff run off the core game if you stopped the core game from working they couldnt get the pirated game to work...

 

my post addressed that, without a serial they cant install the core game, if they do manage it, there is nothing for your so called "Logic Bomb" to detect to trigger a piracy warning, if there was then do you think piracy would be such a huge issue in this day and age?

Well how would you combat the Pirate problem then...what do you recommend?

The only one around is requiring an internet connection in order to play to constantly verify the key, that is the most intrusive form of DRM around and I refuse to co-operate with such a system. You can also require steam to be running, thats been cracked though.

 

Ah damn so there is no way of stopping it...DRM is a bitch so thats out....it can go roast in HELL for all I care...

 

Core game could check all your mods installed and if they have any form of website in there code then the mod would be automatically uninstalled... I know alot of the pirate mod sites have there site url plastered all over the code of the vehicles. I don't know if that is an option but it sounded good in my head :/

 

That really isnt a good way of doing is...I always keep in mind the basic Engineers Principal of KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID or KISS for short you need something basic but effective deterrent for hackers...

I have just thought of one of the sad things about the Russian mods its that the people that make them more than likely have the skill to make a half decent mod but they can't be bothered so they make loads of crap mods with stolen parts

Maybe not as this one was a grand marshal with nothing removed just a bit more of a roof and back windows when they crashed the old bootlid (sedan one ) flew everywhere
