A very good mod indeed Is it possible for Offroad versions to use the heavy duty 4.57 LSD? The stock 5MT's first gear is not quite enough for serious offroading. EDIT: I made a mistake. What I experienced in the game is that the torque multiplier (differential value) is too low for serious offroading.
What I was thinking. --- Post updated --- I really like this mod, there is part of it that looks like a sport model of a first generation Ford Explorer (the one with the straight back) and one that looks like a last generation sport model of a Chevy Blazer S10. I really like it, but maybe the ability to have some more things on the roof of the vehicle? There was a picture I saw of a Chevy Blazer that looks like the offroad model, and it had some lights on the top, as well as a tire on the back, and some lights on the front bumper. I would like to see some more parts added, just in general, to make the car feel more personal when you delve into customization of the thing. There is one thing I noticed so far about the car: On the Offroad Extreme model (I'm not sure if this is for both body styles, I've only used the curved back so far) the first gear seems a little bit long. All of the other gears are fine, it's just from a stop that when you get to about 25000 rpms, the car just stays there. I know this is also the fact that it is a tiny wheelbase, but it seems you are able to three wheel it in an offroad model pretty easily, even at a low speed. Overall, great mod, and I love it! --- Post updated --- I really like this mod, there is part of it that looks like a sport model of a first generation Ford Explorer (the one with the straight back) and one that looks like a last generation sport model of a Chevy Blazer S10. I took the base I6 non-plus body style, and i was customizing it, and i had put in some new stuff into the suspension (changing the wheels to the Alder Powr-Push 15x9 Two-Tones in the front, adding a regular transfer case, heavy duty front brakes, sport struts, and quick ratio steering. I also placed the Plus body on, and made the striping body-colored, and put a black interior in.) I know that was a lot of stuff, but I want you to be able to possibly recreate the glitch, and I went into the body, and put the BeamNav in, and then this glitch happened. I don't know what it is, it might be another roamer mod I have (Heavy Duty Roamer, 2000 Roamer, Wheelie roamer, I don't know) but please help!
Hope this gets updated! The rear wheels are missing off the car The xtreme plus is my favorite car in game!
There's actually a fix for that, 1.spawn a sport off-road/sport+ off-road 2. press CTRL + W and go to frame, rear suspension, rear wheel hubs, rear wheels, then rear tires. select the first one. 3. you're done!
Just wait patiently, I don't have much time recently to update this mod even as it's two full updates behind. I'll try to update it this week.
I have been looking for the 4 door version but this is the closest so thanks for making the but a 4 door sport would be great.
I like the idea, but whenever I spawn any config, the second i accelerate, the front wheels collapse.. Help?
There, I set the thread title to "Unsupported," hopefully that will actually make people understand that this mod doesn't work with 0.5.5.
WE see the thread dead, but the mod apparently got updated, atleast in a private manner. Either way, THATS A BUMP!
I hope it doesn't stay private. I liked this mod back in the day, and it would be cool to be able to have it working again.
He has the latest repo version which anyone can download but does not work. You just cant auto install it or click the orange button as this will deter most noobs from downloading and complaining that it doesn't work.
You hope? I promise, I'll update this mod before the 0.9 update is released. That way I can work out any things broken with the update plus the community feedback. A feasible strategy.
